Ever since the two first appeared in the movie, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram - Leela, there were rumours about a possible spark between the two. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had tied the knot on November 14-15, 2018 in both Sindhi and Konkani rituals. The adorable couple is head-over-heels in love with each other and their beautiful bond is quite visible. Whether it is Deepika enquiring “Mere pati aake gaye”? to paparazzi or reminding her shopping list to hubby, Ranveer on social media, the two always give us a glimpse of couple goals. It was love at first sight for Ranveer when he met the gorgeousness at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau. But for Deepika, it had started during the shooting of their film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram - Leela.
Deepika and Ranveer’s fans adore their love-filled banters on social media and eagerly wait for the same. Ranveer had made his acting debut under Yash Raj banner’s Band Baaja Baaraat and he completed 10 years in the industry recently. On December 10, 2020, he took to his IG handle and shared a dapper picture of himself. On his post, his wifey, Deepika was quick to comment as she thought her husband to be the most good-looking man. On his picture, Deepika wrote, “Handsome” with a love-struck emoticon.
In March, Ranveer Singh had won three major awards at the Zee Cine Awards 2020 for Best Actor in a leading role, Song of the year and Best On-Screen Pair. On March 14, 2020, Ranveer had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a picture with his three trophies. Along with the picture, he had written, “Best Actor in a Leading Role, Song of the Year, Best On-screen Pair #zeecineawards. Blessings on Blessings on Blessings.” On his post, he had received comments from his colleagues, fans, and friends but one comment which had caught our attention was from his wife, Deepika Padukone. Ranveer wears his heart on his sleeves for his ladylove, Deepika. He is not just a humble actor but an ideal husband, who has always supported his wife throughout the highs and lows in her career. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Deepika had revealed that Ranveer is quite confident about himself which is one of the major reasons why he doesn’t mind if his wife overshadows him. She had also credited her husband, who is the reason why she believes that good men still exist.
Six months into their courtship, Ranveer was certain that Deepika will be the mother of his children! In an interview with the Filmfare, this is exactly what he had shared. Revealing the same, he had stated, “Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now.
