As per a recent post by Diet Sabya, mom-to-be, Deepika Padukone is all set to grace the Met Gala 2024, and she will turn the muse for the brand, Louis Vuitton. As per the post, the actress' manager and hairstylist had spilt the tea about the same, thereby revealing that the actress won't be seen anywhere ahead of the Met Gala 2024. For the unversed, the Met Gala 2024 will take place from May 6, 2024, onwards in New York City at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year, the theme of this beauty exhibition will be 'Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion'. The guests of Met Gala 2024 will reportedly be decked up to the theme of The Garden of Time, which is inspired by a short story of the same name, written by J.G. Ballard.

It was back in 2023 when Alia Bhatt turned heads after she added a feather to her hat debuting in Met Gala 2023. For her debut, she was dolled up in a 100,000 pearl-encrusted dress by the ace designer, Prabal Gurung. The diva walked down the red carpet and made her fans as well as the nation proud.
However, Deepika Padukone, who generally keeps the hearts of her fans beating with her mesmerising looks at the beauty exhibition, gave the Met Gala 2023 a miss. While she never disclosed what was the reason behind the same, the actress received a lot of flak for a certain reason. Amid the clamour about Alia Bhatt's Met Gala debut, Deepika took to her IG handle and posted a bunch of BTS photos from the Oscar 2023. For the unversed, the Pathaan actress graced the 95th Academy Awards to introduce the song, Naatu Naatu, which won the Oscar Award.

After Deepika had dropped the photos just ahead of Alia's Met Gala debut, netizens rushed to the comment section and started dropping mean comments while tagging the actress as 'jealous' and 'insecure'. For the unversed, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone share a good bond, although the latter had been an ex-girlfriend to the former's hubby, Ranbir Kapoor.
For those who don't know, it was in February 2024 when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced their pregnancy with an adorable picture note. The duo revealed that they are all set to welcome their child in September 2024. Amid all this, a report by BollywoodLife claimed that the actress has been keeping away from her work life and she has been focusing on her mental and physical health. A source revealed that the actress has been receiving tips from her mom and mother-in-law. Another report revealed that not only Deepika but Ranveer would also take paternity leave as their baby number one is on the way.
