Nomi Ansari is one of the most famous fashion designers in Pakistan. He is known for his vibrant and bold designs that reflect the rich culture and traditions of his country. Over the years, he has etched a special place in millions of hearts with his designs, and many celebrities have also donned ensembles designed by him. Apart from his fashion label, Nomi also has jewellery and home decor brands. Now, he has made a shocking revelation regarding his clients' wish to get dressed up as Bollywood actresses, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt.

Thus, it is quite simple to understand how women from around the world always take inspiration from them. Now, in an interview on Hasna Mana Hai with Tabish Hashmi, Pakistani fashion designer, Nomi Ansari opened up about love for Deepika and Alia amongst his country's audiences. The bridal couture designer shared how his customers always make a demand to make them look like the Bollywood actresses.

Speaking about the unrealistic expectations of his customers, Nomi Ansari revealed how it is extremely difficult for any designer like him to incorporate the bride's wishes into their ensembles. However, he tries his best to do so. But sometimes, when women make unrealistic demands to make them look like Alia and Deepika, it simply amazes him. Nomi was then asked what he does with such clients. To this, the designer joked that he makes them look like Alia's filmmaker father, Mahesh Bhatt. In his words:
“Everyone comes with a lot of hope and requests. But to make their hope a reality also you need something to start with. Everyone wants to look like Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone. But they do not have the body structure or the lifestyle or the audience to achieve the desired look. Unka hum Mahesh Bhatt bana sakte hain.”
In many instances, we have seen brides recreating looks done by the Bollywood divas onscreen. For instance, Pakistani singer and social media influencer, Iqra Kanwal showed her love for Bollywood during her wedding. For one of the looks during her wedding functions, Iqra dressed up as 'Mastani' from the movie, Bajirao Mastani. She specifically opted for Deepika Padukone’s look from the song, Deewani Mastani and was even seen singing the cult popular track, and just like 'Mastani' dedicated her performance to her husband, 'Bajirao', Iqra did it for the love of her life, Areeb Pervaiz

The ten-day Red Film Festival happened in the last week of November 2023. The festival celebrates and appreciates the best films made all around the globe.
