Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding was attended by a few close friends and their respective families. What was surprising and warming was the welcome they got at the airport when they landed lately after the wedding celebrations were over. There were over 300 people gathered at the airport to receive the ‘just-married’ couple. This much is the love they have bagged from their fans in all these years! And now, if you think that the celebrations are over, you are completely wrong! There are three more such grand events related to DeepVeer that are scheduled to take place this month. On November 21, 2018, it is Deepika and Ranveer’s Bangalore reception that is reportedly for their families. For the same, the couple has just left as they were clicked at the airport in their traditional best attires. Deepika looked drop-dead gorgeous in her cream-coloured suit by Sabyasachi, which she teamed up with pearl danglers. Her red chooda was an icing on the cake as it enhanced her newbie bride look. On the other hand, Ranveer looked dapper in a white kurta pyjama teamed up with a floral waistcoat Sabyasachi. One look at these two lovelies clicked at the airport while leaving for Bangalore, and you will agree that they look like royals:
For the uninitiated ones, Deepika and Ranveer will host their second wedding reception in Mumbai for their industry friends on November 28, 2018. But a recent report also suggested that another reception might take place on December 1, 2018. Speaking of their Mumbai reception, a report recently claimed, “The two will host a reception at Grand Hyatt on December 1. As per a DNA report, Deepika and Ranveer will shift to Deepika’s Prabhadevi apartments after their wedding. The report could be read as, “Zeroing down on such an apartment isn’t an easy task and this will take some time. They don’t want to rush into choosing the property. They want to do it up completely before they move in”. The source further stated, “It’s a wise and practical decision by the duo because Deepika stays alone in Prabhadevi. And Ranveer doesn’t want her to leave the place that she has made her home over the years.”
Putting rest to all the rumours and speculations regarding their wedding, Deepika and Ranveer released an official joint statement that was worded as, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness.
