On June 12, 2019, Deepika had taken to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures with her husband, Ranveer and director, Kabir Khan. Deepika had shared her excitement on working with her husband, Ranveer for the first time after their marriage. She also thanked director, Kabir Singh, for giving them an opportunity to be a part of the biopic, 83. She had captioned the picture as "& on to the next...Thank You @kabirkhankk for this incredible honour...! #RomiDev #Day1 @83thefilm @ranveersingh."
Deepika and Ranveer’s love story was much sought after one of B-town. In an interview with the GQ magazine, Deepika had talked about her love story with Ranveer and had shared, "I think you just know when you want to spend the rest of your life with that one person – and he’s everything rolled into one man. He’s my best friend, playmate, companion and confidant. I can be silly in front of him, I can be stupid in front of him, I can be sick in front of him, I can be whatever I want to be." In another interview with Pinkvilla, Deepika Padukone had revealed what are the things that made her fall for the Bajirao Mastani actor, Ranveer Singh. She had shared, "Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. The foundation of our relationship is just solid friendship and for any successful relationship, that's very essential. It started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that we have dated, it only became stronger and stronger. Over a period of time, I don't think there was that one definite moment."
Ranveer Singh, who first saw Deepika Padukone at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau, fell in love with her instantly and had also shared an unknown characteristic about her in an interview. He had revealed, “There is a child-like quality to her that nobody other than me has the privilege of seeing. It’s a precious part of my life.” Further sharing a post-marriage secret about their life after marriage, the Gully Boy actor had shared, “It has only gotten better.
