At the heart of the buzz was Lipa's custom Chanel Haute Couture wedding dress, a masterpiece created by Chanel creative director, Matthieu Blazy. More than a fashion statement, the gown was a work of art. The Levitating singer's bridal look was especially significant for Chanel, as it was the first-ever wedding gown from the creative mind of Blazy.

Handcrafted at Chanel's iconic Paris headquarters on Rue Cambon, the halter-neck bridal gown featured an intricate open-back design, a dramatic two-meter train, and dazzling embellishments that included an astonishing 480,000 beads and jewels. The gown's intricate trompe-l'oeil jewel embroidery required an extraordinary 1,155 hours of handwork by Lesage's skilled artisans, showcasing the remarkable craftsmanship behind the couture creation.

But that's not all! Further elevating the couture creation were the 25,000 ostrich feathers supplied by Chanel's legendary feather specialist, Lemarié. With a combined effort, the result was a one-of-a-kind gown that shimmered from every angle just enough to maintain the ethereal elegance that the bride had envisioned. She paired it with a massive 20-foot (six-meter) tulle veil embroidered with birds and flowers.

A six-meter embroidered veil adorned with delicate beadwork, feathers, and hand-cut organza appliqués completed the ensemble. Lipa completed the look with custom white satin pumps from luxury shoemaker Massaro Paris, a feathered headpiece, and pale rose-pink almond nails. While the exact price details of the gown remain under wraps, fashion analysts estimate it could range anywhere between USD 500,000 and USD 1 million.

The groom, 36, perfectly balanced Lipa's studded yet subtle bridal fit, donning a custom Louis Vuitton tuxedo. The classic tailoring of Turner's tux perfectly complemented the bride's couture glamour.

The newlyweds then flew to Italy for a lavish and intimate three-day wedding celebration in Palermo, Sicily, surrounded by family and close friends. For the welcome party, Dua dolled up in an ivory backless custom dress from Bottega Veneta, and her post-wedding brunch outfit was a delicate white lace dress from Chloe. The Sicily wedding itself is reported to have cost a whopping USD 1.5 to USD 1.73 million overall.

The star-studded guest list reportedly included music icon Elton John, who is said to have performed at the wedding reception, alongside fellow artists Olivia Dean, Mark Ronson, and Charli XCX.

The celebrations were hosted at the luxurious Villa Igiea, a historic seaside hotel on the outskirts of Palermo. Known for its grandeur and breathtaking views, the property reportedly costs around USD 6,000 per night, making it a fitting backdrop for one of the most glamorous celebrity weddings of the year.
