A while back, an X account, Buzz Crave, claimed that Dua Lipa is expecting her first child with her husband, Callum Turner. The viral claim gained traction on social media days after the wedding of Dua and Callum. The caption of the post can be read, Dua Lipa announces she’s pregnant with her first child: 'I'm eating for 2 now.'" The post also featured a sonogram image. While the post has crossed over 2.5 million views, it is worth mentioning that neither Dua Lipa nor Callum Turner has announced that they are expecting a child.

Soon after the post claiming Dua Lipa is expecting her first child went viral on X, netizens flooded the comment section. A user wrote, "Can someone tell me if she's actually pregnant? I keep seeing this news, and I still can't believe it." Another user commented, "Congratulations to her. We can subtly say goodbye to that model figure. Pregnancy hormones respect no one." A third user wrote, "I'm not surprised it happened so quickly; those honeymoon photos were insane." A fourth user penned, "I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true; those honeymoon photos were honestly wild."

Believing the viral claim to be true, a fan wrote, "That's good news for her and her husband, you actually need to keep some things out of the Internet. Nobody needs to know this, only you and your loved ones. But who am I to have a say in her life?" Another fan commented, "Congratulations, Dua Lipa, on your first pregnancy. At the time, she set the record straight by saying that she would never announce anything major using emojis. The speculation began when Dua used some random little emojis in her Instagram post captions. Addressing the buzz, Dua told Jimmy Kimmel:

"I like finding little random emojis, I put like a baby bottle, little angel, some sparkles, random… I really didn’t think this through, and I posted it, and then I looked at the comments. I look at the picture, and I look at the comment, I look at the comment, I look at the picture, look at the comment, I’m like, surely I don’t look pregnant. I’m like ‘Oh, my god, these emojis have come to bite me in the [butt]… or the stomach!' Just to clear it up, I’m not pregnant."

Dua and Callum reportedly confirmed their romance in January 2024. Later, that year, in May 2024, the couple made their relationship Insta-official. On June 12, 2025, Dua confirmed their engagement. In an interview, Dua said:
