As cops are investigating the matter, Darrell Sheets' girlfriend's 911 call from the ill-fated day has now surfaced online. According to the 911 call obtained by TMZ, she was in absolute shock when she heard a gunshot go off in her house.
According to reports, she immediately called 911 and told cops she believed the Storage Wars star, Darrell Sheets, had just killed himself. In the call allegedly made right after the gun went off, the unnamed woman was heard explaining what had just happened. She said, "I just heard a gun go off." Darrell's girlfriend says he never threatened to kill himself before the incident.
However, she also admitted that he was struggling with insomnia and had been "just frustrated" with his lack of sleep and his kid, calling it all "terrible, terrible s***." Soon after, the cops arrived at the scene and discovered Storage Wars star, Darrell Sheets' body. The authorities informed the media that the star was found with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The Arizona police officer who responded to Darrell Sheets' home immediately knew who the deceased was when he saw him dead, and officers were shocked when they realised what they stumbled upon. In the Lake Havasu police body cam footage, the officers were seen clearing the house after they found out that Darrell was dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
One officer knew Darrell Sheets was a celebrity, and his fellow colleague lets out an "Oh!" when he fills them in. The officer wearing the bodycam was evidently a fan of the show. He was heard explaining to his partner that Darrell Sheets had starred on the much-loved show, Storage Wars, with his son, and the officer even knew the truck they drove to haul away their storage treasures.
The video shared by TMZ has been blurred. However, the seriousness and sadness are still evident. The situation was grim as the paramedics couldn't even pronounce Storage Wars star, Darrell Sheets dead because he was holding the revolver he used, with his finger still on the trigger. For the unversed, it seemed like the officers and the paramedics were worried he might pull the trigger again as rigor mortis set in.
According to reports, Darrell Sheets was found dead at his Arizona home on April 22, 2026 (ET). The medical examiner later ruled his death as suicide. Recently, a suicide note in his death case has been found, a part of which read, "I could not take the Facebook bullying anymore." TMZ reported that it was written in what appeared to be shaky handwriting. The police are still investigating the lead, trying to find out who was bullying the late star.
