Dalljiet Kaur made many believe in the beauty of 'second chances' and starting again, when she announced her second marriage with a Kenya-based businessman, Nikhil Patel. But destiny had other plans, and Dalljiet seems to have parted ways from Nikhil. The actress, who moved not just cities but oceans to be with the man of her dreams and his kids, is back in India. However, Dalljiet has never once shared the reason for her separation or talked about troubles in her marital life. But she deleted all the wedding photos.
On May 24, 2024, Dalljeit took to her Instagram handle and posted a video from her latest bridal shoot. In the clip, we can see her donning a heavy red-toned lehenga. The actress was clad in heavy jewellery including a nath, a maangteeka, matching earrings and a neckpiece. While her makeup and hair were on point, one could clearly see the pain in her eyes as she posed for the camera.

Sharing the photos, Dalljiet penned a cryptic note, and it seems like it hinted at her troubled marriage and choosing to suffer in silence for the sake of her kids and how her family has been with her so that she doesn't fall. Her note can be read as:
"She chooses her silence for the sake of her kids. While her family holds her tight not to let her fall. She waits. Hey SN do u have a kid too?"

For the unversed, Dalljiet shifted to Kenya after getting married to Nikhil in a grand wedding ceremony, followed by a grand reception. According to a report by ETimes, Dalljiet and Nikhil were not happy for a long time. The report claimed that the estranged couple started facing trouble soon after their marriage and they realised that they were 'incompatible'. The insider told the news outlet that if they failed to sort out their differences, separation would be the only option.
The insider further claimed that the situation between them had worsened in the last two months. The source was quoted as saying:
"Initially, everything seemed fine in their marriage, but it was short-lived. Problems cropped up between the couple soon after. Dalljiet and Nikhil realised they were incompatible. The situation worsened in the last two months. If problems persist, separation might be the only option."
