Television actress, Dalljiet Kaur has gone through a lot in her six years long marriage with Shalin Bhanot. From facing domestic abuse, a difficult time during the pregnancy to fighting for divorce, Dalljiet has proved that she is much stronger than seems. Recently, the actress talked about facing financial blows after her bitter separation and a time when she was left with no money for even a monthly ration.
Dalljiet recalled the most difficult times of her life in an interview with Bollywood Bubble. The actress shared that after her separation, she had no money even to feed her son, Jaydon. The actress revealed that it was crazy as she had to decide between her son's education and the monthly ration. She revealed that she had immediately paid for his education. While people called it a stupid decision, she never wanted to compromise on her son's education.

In the same interaction, Dalljiet mentioned that she was 86 kg after her pregnancy. So, she worked hard to restart her acting career, which she had left after her marriage. Dalljiet also added that she lost 34 kgs within six months to look young.
Recalling her divorce journey, Dalljiet said that it was the worse feeling. She took years to come to terms with her divorce. She also added that she never involved her parents for years. However, when things came out, they got to know. Dalljiet also revealed that her family helped her and supported her by being there.
For those who don't know, Dalljiet was married to television actor, Shalin Bhanot and after six years of marital life, they parted ways. The actress had filed a domestic violence case against her husband and in-laws. While it came as a big shock, everyone admired Dalljiet for her courage.
Once Dalljiet had also revealed that trouble started cropping the next day after the wedding when her mother-in-law had stopped talking to her because she wasn't happy with the wedding gifts. She shared that they had always known about the financial status of her family.
On the work front, Dalljiet made her acting debut with Manshaa in 2004!
