Dalljiet Kaur is one of the most talented actresses in the television industry. She had made a household name for herself with popular daily soaps like Kulvaddhu, Kaala Teeka, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon among others. Currently, the actress has taken a hiatus from acting and has settled down in Kenya along with her husband, Nikhil Patel. For the unversed, Dalljiet had been previously married to her ex-husband and actor, Shalin Bhanot and they were blessed with a son, Jaydon. However, the duo got divorced in 2015, post which, Dalljiet found love again in her businessman beau, Nikhil Patel. Thereafter, Dalljiet finally tied the knot for a second time with Nikhil in March 2023.
Taking to her YouTube channel, Dalljiet dropped a new Vlog where she and Nikhil shared their experiences of completing 90 days of their marriage. The duo spoke about how they have been managing a new life and a new household along with their three kids. Moreover, they also touched upon the topic of the constant trolling and criticisms they have been receiving, ever since they decided to take the marital plunge for the second time. Dalljiet specifically spoke about how trolls make mean comments about their age difference. While Nikhil addressed this politely by referring how the couple chose to lead a healthy lifestyle, it was Dalljiet who slammed shut such trolls. She mentioned:
“Many trolls comment about our age. I am just 3 years younger to Nik. So if he is old, so am I. I want to look sexy for him, he wants to be sexy for me. We want to live long and have a great life ahead of us. So this is one part of the troll, which is age.”

Going further in the video, Dalljiet also revealed how many trolls have targeted her use of the acronym, 'Take 2' for her marriage with Nikhil. To this, she mentioned how she is utterly happy and quite proud of her decision to give love a second chance in her life. And so, despite getting constant messages and criticisms to not emphasise her second marriage with the word 'Take 2', she instead uses it more proudly. In her words:
“I have been very proud of the journey I have had. My success, when I have been broke as hell, now I am happy, people know it. And now I get comments and messages saying not to mention ‘Take 2’. Why should I not emphasise that I got married for the second time and that I am happy. What’s the problem? What do you think?
Ever since their marriage, Dalljiet and Nikhil have been receiving a lot of queries about their marriage. For instance, during a live interaction on her social media handle on March 20, 2023, Dalljiet had opened up on the fan’s query about her possibility of having more kids after her second marriage with Nikhil. For the unversed, while Dalljiet and her ex-hubby, Shalin Bhanot are blessed with a son, Jaydon, on the other hand, Nikhil also has two daughters, Aariyana and Aanika, from his previous marriage. Thus, Dalljiet responded that she wouldn't be having any more kids, as they already have three kids.

In another QnA session with her fans on her social media handle, Dalljiet was asked about why she does not share pictures of her step-daughter, Aariyana on her social media handle. She gave a beautiful response to it and mentioned that being a mom of a daughter, she is a little protective about her. In her words:
"I think ab mujhe realise ho raha hai, being a mother of a daughter is a lot of responsibility. And you'll see Aari a little bit, but I'm a little possessive. I am a bit protective."
