Salman Khan's Co-Star, Daisy Shah Shares An Update On Salim Khan's Health, '...He Is Out Of Danger'

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan and his entire family are dealing with the toughest phases of their life as screenwriter, Salim Khan has been hospitalised. For those who do not know, Salim Khan was admitted in Lilavati Hospital, after suffering a minimal brain haemorrhage. Over the past few days, multiple celebrities have visited him. Well now, Salman Khan's co-star, Daisy Shah shared an update about Salim Khan's health.

Daisy Shah reveals Salim Khan is out of danger

Recently, Race 3 actress, Daisy Shah had an interaction with the media, during which she shared an update on Salim Khan’s health. When asked if the veteran screenwriter is stable or not, the actress explained that he had undergone a surgery, which has been successful and Salim Khan is now stable. Daisy Shah was quoted as saying:

"I couldn't meet Salim sir, but I am constantly in touch with Salman sir and his family. Salim Sir is fine now. He is stable. The surgery went well, it was a success and he is under observation, but he is out of danger."

When Salman Khan requested privacy regarding Salim Khan’s health

A few days ago, doctor, Jalil Parkar, who was monitoring Salim Khan’s treatment, had shared his health update with the media. When Salman Khan and his family got to know about the same, they were disappointed and asked the medical staff to not share any more details with the paparazzi. A source close to the Sultan actor and the family had told Variety India:

"Health is a private matter. Ideally, no updates should be shared with the media and any communication should be left entirely to the family, if and when they choose to address fans and well-wishers. Salman and his family were displeased with the doctor's public statement and have clearly conveyed to the authorities that they do not want any further details disclosed."

For those who do not know, Salim Khan was admitted to the hospital on February 17, 2026. Reportedly, he was taken to Lilavati Hospital through a family doctor. Later, doctors revealed that the veteran screenwriter had gone through a minimal brain haemorrhage. Over the next few days, he was kept under observation. Some reports had also claimed that Salim Khan was on a ventilator. 

Ever since Salim Khan has been admitted, multiple celebrities and family members have visited him. It is worth mentioning that Arbaaz Khan, his wife, Sohail Khan, Arhaan Khan, Salman Khan and more have visited the screenwriter in hospital. Apart from family members, actors like Aamir Khan, Gauri Spratt, Shah Rukh Khan, Malaika Arora, Sanjay Dutt, Anjali Tendulkar and more have been spotted at the hospital.

Talking about Salim Khan, he is one of the most celebrated and respected screenwriters. Over the years, he has co-written iconic films like Sholay, Deewar, Zanjeer, Don and more. In his personal life, Salim Khan was previously married to Salma Khan. And the two have four children- Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Alvira Khan Agnihotri. Later, Salim Khan tied the knot with actress, Helen. It is worth mentioning that the entire family shares a good bond with each other.
