It was reportedly a “private and intimate moment” that has left fans even more curious to know about the details of their wedding. Amid this, the couple’s prenup details and marriage certificate have emerged, revealing four witnesses who were present at the ceremony.

According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez married at their 30-million-pound mansion near Lisbon. Their recently emerged marriage certificate reveals that they exchanged vows in front of just four witnesses and their children.
Interestingly, Ronaldo’s mom, Dolores Aveiro, and his three siblings, Hugo, Elma, and Katia, were not present during the wedding, which took place at around 1:30 p.m. on August 11, 2026. The absence of the footballer’s mom was notable, as she had publicly shown her support for the marriage. After Ronaldo posted a picture of the couple’s wedding rings, Dolores responded with a heart emoji.
Before Ronaldo and Georgina's marriage, the footballer’s fans used to speculate about the relationship between the latter and Dolores. However, the family has always pushed back against all allegations of a serious rift.
Coming to the witnesses who were present, the marriage certificate reveals the names of Miguel Paixao, Ivana Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez Sangil, and Monica Gonzalez Martinez. Miguel is reportedly one of Ronaldo’s long-time friends who has been with him since his days as a youth at Sporting. Ivana is Georgina's sister, and Rodriguez Sangil is a Spanish jeweller, with Gonzalez Martinez identifying as his wife.
The marriage certificate further revealed that Ronaldo and Georgina will both keep their pre-marriage names. The certificate appeared to have been listed at Porto’s Registry Office instead of Cascais, the municipality where the duo tied the knot.
Apart from them, the ceremony itself was officiated by Maria Manuel Ferrara. She is a registrar who travelled from Porto to Cascais to conduct Ronaldo and Georgina's marriage.
Another surprising detail about Ronaldo and Georgina’s marriage that has emerged is that the couple chose to sign a prenuptial agreement despite their decade-long relationship. This will help them keep their prenuptial assets separate. They signed the prenup a day before the ceremony, on August 10, 2026, at a public notary’s office in Lisbon. They are also continuing to use Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as their usual place of residence.
