Just days before his death, the fitness influencer went to Thailand to be with his girlfriend. While Connor’s cause of death remains under investigation, a 2024 report about how he allegedly attacked his girlfriend with a golf club in Pattaya has surfaced.

As per a report by the Thai news website, Thaiger, Connor Murphy had once found himself in trouble with the police before his death. The incident occurred after Connor woke up due to the sound of broken glass. After he flew into a state of rage, his girlfriend found him bleeding and acting hysterically, following which he attacked her with a golf club.
Feeling scared, Connor’s girlfriend hid in her younger sister’s bedroom and eventually escaped through a window. Reports suggest that the girlfriend had sustained injuries from the club attack while her sister got hurt from the broken glass. The pair decided to seek help from a maid via instant messaging, who called the Thai police for them.
When the police arrived on the scene, Connor refused to surrender. Instead, he went inside a bathroom until they managed to convince him to come out. Although the Thai police arrested him, no formal charge was levied against him at the time, as they were reportedly waiting for his recovery before further investigation.
It is worth noting that, as per CCTV footage reviewed by the police, the fitness influencer was acting incoherently before the attack. Later, one of Connor’s friends claimed that the incident was supposedly staged as part of a video for his YouTube channel.
After Connor Murphy’s death, his girlfriend had a conversation with ThaiRath. As per the report, she is 22 years old, which means that she and the late fitness influencer shared an age gap of more than 10 years. She claimed that she had been with Connor for three years and used to frequently meet in Thailand.
Connor's girlfriend revealed that before his death, he had been out of Thailand for some time and had only returned recently to be with her. When the conversation between her and the interviewer turned towards reports of Connor behaving erratically before his death, she feigned ignorance. She also claimed that she did not see her boyfriend taking drugs before his death.
According to reports, authorities who were investigating the incident had entered the YouTuber’s rented luxury home. They soon found two unused syringes in his car as well as unidentified pills in his waist bag.

The biggest shift in Connor Murphy's content came after the COVID-19 pandemic, as he began putting out videos centred around spirituality, extended fasting, personal ‘awakening’ moments, and psychedelic use. This switch shocked many of his fans who had been following his journey for a long time. They even became worried about the influencer’s mental health as they noticed the erratic content he was posting online.
