Collin Gosselin Accused His Dad, Jon Gosselin Of Abuse, 'Punched Me In The Face..Started Bleeding'

The memoir will talk about his time growing up in Jon & Kate Plus 8, including how his mom, Kate Gosselin, used to abuse him as a child.
The tension between the duo is at an all-time high already, as even before the release of the memoir, Collin accused Kate of hitting him when he was only 2 years old. But many might not be aware that Collin has also accused his dad, Jon, of abusing him when he was 16.
Collin Gosselin called his father, Jon Gosselin, a liar and claimed that he used to beat him up
It was in September 2020 when Collin Gosselin accused his dad, Jon Gosselin, of abuse. Collin, who was only 16 at the time, claimed that Jon allegedly punched and kicked him. Reportedly, Kate was notified of what was happening by the police. During a statement, Kate defended her son and said:
"You do not punch and kick your children. You do not kick a child. I don't want to hear any excuses from anyone, not from his father, not from local law enforcement, not from court personnel whose job is supposedly to ensure the best interests of my children."
For those unaware, Collin has alleged in an Instagram post, which has since been deleted, that Jon was a “liar” and that “he beat me up and thought nothing of it, he punched me in the face and gave me a swollen nose, and I started bleeding. He then continued to kick me in the ribs after I was on the floor.” A source revealed that the altercation between Collin and Jon unfolded when the former got upset with his dad in the car.
When they finally reached home, Collin threw a “big heavy bottle of liquid” at Jon’s car in a fit of anger. Following this, Jon “got out of his car enraged, put him in a headlock, punched him square in the nose, and when Collin fell to the ground, then he kicked him in the ribs.” It is worth noting that Jon had never been charged with abuse and had denied all the allegations. He said in a statement:
"It escalated into something, you know, I had to restrain him, and I've done that a couple times. I didn't think he would call the police, but he wanted to get his way, and the police did their investigation, and there were no charges or citations filed."
Collin Gosselin made fresh abuse claims against his mother, Kate Gosselin
A few days ago, Kate Gosselin addressed whether she would sue her son, Collin, for defamation. Soon after this, Collin blasted his mom and made more bombshell accusations against her. He alleged that when he was a 2-year-old baby, his mother used to hit him. On his Instagram Stories on June 30, 2026, he wrote:
“Never forget the fact that my mom would write in her diary how she ‘had to pray to God to stop hitting me’ (this was while I was 2 years old by the way). And this is why using my voice to put these things in the light is so important.”
Previously, talking about the abuse that he faced at her hands, Collin had said that Kate used to often confine and isolate him from his seven siblings. He believed that he was always on “the brute end of things.”
