The popular South Korean actor, Kim Dong Wook announced his engagement to his fiancee in August 2023. For the unversed, the 40-year-old actor, who has been working in Korean showbiz for almost two decades, has starred in some of the most popular content from Hallyu, such as Coffee Prince, Find Me In Your Memory, Shooting Stars, You Are My Spring and many more.
Previously, Dong Wook made an official statement via his agency, KeyEast, that he would be finally tying the knot with his ladylove in the winter. The agency stated that the couple's strong faith and belief in each other led to their decision to get married. KeyEast also disclosed that the actor would have a private wedding in December 2023.

On December 22, 2023, Kim Dong Wook exchanged vows with his ladylove, Stella Kim, in a lavish yet intimate wedding ceremony. The new bride looked extremely stunning in an elegant white-hued off-shoulder gown, with her hair styled in a bun and a veil tucked into it. On the other hand, the groom, Kim Dong Wook looked equally dashing in a black tuxedo. The wedding was reportedly attended by an intimate circle of close friends and family from both the bride and groom's sides. Several captivating images and videos from the event have been making rounds on social media.
Previously, Kim Dong Wook’s bride’s identity was not disclosed in the media as she did not belong to the industry. However, recent reports revealed the true identity of the actor’s bride. Stella Kim was previously a trainee with the South Korean entertainment agency, SM Entertainment. It is reported that Stella was supposed to debut with the 2nd generation K-pop girl group, Girls' Generation.

However, she made an important decision to decline an official signing with the agency because she was influenced by parental intervention and the toll it took on her mental health. At present, Stella has embraced a new path as a writer, opting for a spotlight away from the entertainment industry. Despite not being a public figure, Stella is admired for her beauty and personality. In October 2023, a few months prior to their wedding, Stella shared a touching post on her Instagram account expressing the warmth and depth of her relationship with the actor, Kim Dong Wook.
Kim Dong Wook and Stella Kim’s wedding was attended by one of Girls’ Generation’s members, Sooyoung Choi, who is close friends with the bride. Sooyoung shared photos on her Instagram of reuniting with the newlywed bride after the ceremony. The wedding was also attended by the popular Hallyu actor, Jung Kyung Ho, who is famous for portraying roles in K-dramas such as Crash Course In Romance, Hospital Playlist, Crash Landing On You, and others.
