'Cocktail 2', Here's When You Can Watch Shahid Kapoor, Kriti And Rashmika's Movie On OTT

Shahid Kapoor's performance has been tagged as 'top' in his recent movie, Cocktail 2. The sequel to the much-loved Bollywood movie, Cocktail, Cocktail 2 features Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, and it hit the theatres on June 19, 2026.

The expectation from the movie was already up, given the fact that the movie, Cocktail, which featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Daina Penty in the lead roles, has been considered an iconic one, and since it is the sequel of the same film, people have been waiting for it to hit the screens and also were expecting something good to remember. Well, amid the movie hitting screens, let's have a look at when exactly the film can hit the small screen through a digital platform.

When is Shahid Kapoor's movie, Cocktail 2, releasing on OTT?

Shahid Kapoor's movie, Cocktail 2, is said to have been made on an alleged budget of Rs. 80-150 crore, and it hit the big screens on June 19, 2026. The movie, which is directed by Homi Adajania, saw massive pre-sales and debuted at Rs. 9-11 crore net on the opening day, and it was backed by Rs. 5.57 crore.

This is a good start, and given that people have been giving good responses to the same, the craze is constant about the movie, and the audience has been wondering when it is going to hit the small screens, i.e. the OTT platforms. To mention, Cocktail 2 might hit the OTT platforms from the end of July to early August 2026. The movie will be released on Netflix, and the platform was announced alongside the theatrical release. However, the official OTT release announcement is still awaited from the makers.

Cocktail 2 cast fee and plot

If the reports are to be believed, Cocktail 2 has a plotline similar to Cocktail, which showed Diana's 'Meera' entering the relationship between Deepika (Veronica) and Saif (Gautam). Speaking of Cocktail 2, in the movie, Shahid Kapoor's 'Kunal' has a smooth relationship with Rashmika Mandanna's 'Diya', which eventually hits a rough patch with the arrival of Kriti Sanon's 'Ally' in their lives.

The arrival of 'Ally' turns the smooth bond between 'Diya' and 'Kunal' a bit rocky, including humour, emotions and twists. Now coming to the salary, Shahid Kapoor has been said to be paid around Rs. 35 crore for his role in the movie, while the female leads, Kriti and Rashmika, were reportedly paid Rs. 15 crore each for their roles in the movie. 

There was a speculation that Cocktail 2 features a lesbian love story between Kriti and Rashmika's character. However, Kriti Sanon dismissed the buzz and said that there's no such lesbian love angle in the movie. Rashmika reacted to the same, jokingly saying that she actually thinks that they have the right chemistry. She then replied that there's no lesbian love shown in this particular movie and that all three leads are shown as straight and there was an emotional threesome, not a physical one. She could be quoted as saying:

"I know, we do have that chemistry. We are three straight people, guys. It's only an emotional threesome, not physical."
