Clavicular, 20-Yr-Old Influencer, Walked Out Of An Interview With Andrew Callaghan Over One Comment

Famous influencer, Clavicular, who is 20 years old, has managed to build an empire of his own due to his content. Clavicular's real name is Braden Eric Peters, but he rose to fame with his online moniker, 'Clavicular'. He has been leading the recent viral 'looksmaxxing' trend.

Recently, a video of him storming off an interview with Andrew Callaghan has been going viral. Clavicular seems to be taking the recent social media trend 'looksmaxing' extremely close to his heart, and it seems like it is the reason why he got furious and walked out mid-interview.

Why did Clavicular walk out of an interview with Andrew Callaghan?  

A video shared by Channel 5, showed Clavicular's heated conversation with Andrew Callaghan. It all started after the interviewer stated that he was personally 'satisfied' with his own appearance. The response triggered the influencer, who is known for promoting 'looksmaxxing'. For the unversed, 'looksmaxxing' is an online trend in men where they maximise their physical attractiveness using methods from grooming to fitness to cosmetic procedures. 

In the clip, Andrew Callaghan tried to challenge the 20-year-old influencer's ideology and promotion of the 'looksmaxxing' trend. Clavicular has been an advocate of 'looksmaxxing' which focuses on extreme physical improvement. In the clip, Andrew started the interview with the hope of giving Clavicular a platform and letting his followers know about his life. 

Coming to the fight, Clavicular tried to bring Andrew's focus to how to learn and go about the viral 'looksmaxxing' trend. He said, "I think that is totally fair. And I applaud you for that. But not one question about looksmaxxing?" However, Andrew was adamant and stated that several questions had already been asked, and he didn't know the specific science behind the community. Andrew stated:

"I have probably asked you about looksmaxxing about 40 times. I just don't know the specific science. I am not in the community."

The 20-year-old Clavicular was confused by the behaviour of the host, as he didn't expect it. So, in order to prove his point, he asked that he didn't want to know about hair loss. The host then asked him more about it, and Clavicular sensed how Andrew had no interest in his 'looksmaxxing' belief. He questioned him if he wakes up and he is 100 per cent satisfied with what he sees in the mirror, the host stated that he is content with his looks, Clavicular's frustration levelled, and he shut the interview mid-way. Before walking out of the interview, Clavicular said:

"If you want to be completely disingenuous, that's fine with me. I guess there is just no point to continue."

Netizens were quick to react to the heated exchange. One user wrote, "The whole looksmaxxing grift collapses the second someone says they're happy with themselves." Another netizen pointed out, "Why confidence is the one thing they never sell you."

Clavicular's and his controversies

Clavicular a.k.a. Braden Peters has built a massive fan following through his content 'looksmaxxing'. He is considered a controversial social media personality due to his unrealistic beauty standards for men. Recently, Clavicular was detained in Florida. There was suspicion of violence after he incited a fight between two women and shared the video on social media to gain likes.

On March 27, 2026, he was released on a USD 1,000 bond. In the past, Clavicular was slammed due to his clip, where he was seen shooting an alligator multiple times in the Florida Everglades. There were three others involved with him who were seen shooting at an alligator from an airboat.
