The 60-year-old Cindy recently walked the Gucci Cruise 2027 show, staged right in Times Square. Her dress was so heavy that the supermodel suffered a wardrobe malfunction, which went completely unnoticed. Speaking about the same to Net-a-Porter’s digital publication Porter, Cindy said:
“The dress was so heavy, and my heel came out of my shoe right when I walked out, and I never got it back in. But that dress was so big you couldn’t see it. I was like, ‘Just don’t lose the shoe. Just keep the shoe on. I don’t want to be like Cinderella.’”

Though it was a tricky situation, Cindy was unflappable. She was, in fact, wary of the very public runway, which also included Paris Hilton, Gabbriette, and Tom Brady. Well, it’s the decade-long experience she has, that gave her the confidence to keep walking despite being aware of the secret wardrobe malfunction she suffered in the middle of the runway.
Cindy Crawford revealed that having a daughter who likes her is annoying
After Cindy Crawford divorced Richard Gere in 1995, she fell in love with businessman and former model Rande Gerber, and they married in 1998. They have two children, son Presley Walker Gerber, and daughter Kaia Jordan Gerber. Cindy and her daughter Kaia have frequently faced public comparisons regarding their striking physical appearance.
In an interview with Porter magazine, Crawford said she enjoys the comparisons, while acknowledging they may be harder for her daughter. Speaking from Kaia’s perspective, Crawford added that the situation can be frustrating sometimes. Elaborating on the same, she said:
“There are definitely some perks, but there are probably also things that are annoying, and I’ve acknowledged that with her. I’m sure that sometimes it’s very difficult.”
Just like her mom, Kaia is also a model and has walked for many leading designer labels. Cindy and Kaia have also shared a professional experience when they both walked in the 2017 Versace fashion show as separate individuals. Speaking of the same, Cindy revealed they had some special moments while walking the ramp together. The veteran also revealed that the two were professionals and were not like a mother-daughter duo.
In the September issue of Vogue, Kaia Gerber spoke about the difficulties of growing up under constant comparisons to her mother, particularly when it came to her body image. Speaking about the same, she said:
“As someone who has been skinny for most of my life, I was always compared to my mom, with people saying things like, ‘What’s going on with Kaia?’ People always commented on my body, which is difficult because I’m not always ready to talk about my own body.”
