Indian playback singer, Chinmayi Sripada and her actor-husband, Rahul Ravindran are currently basking in the glory of their parenthood journey. The beautiful couple was blessed with two beautiful twins, and they have lovingly named their daughter, Driptah and their son, Shravas. However, soon after Chinmayi made an overnight announcement of becoming a mother, some people slammed her and claimed that she had her twin babies through a surrogate.
It was on June 21, 2022, when Chinmayi Sripada had announced the good news of embracing motherhood for the first time in her life. The newbie mom shared two adorable glimpses of her twins, Driptah and Shravas on her IG handle, and it was too cute to be missed. Sharing the priceless pictures, Chinmayi had penned:
“Driptah and Sharvas The new and forever center of our Universe. @rahulr_23.”

On October 18, 2022, Chinmayi Sripada took to her IG handle and shared a picture of herself flaunting her baby bump. In the mirror selfie, the singer can be seen posing in a mustard-hued maxi dress, completing her look with a high bun. For the unversed, this is the first-ever picture from her pregnancy, and it was simply unmissable. Sharing the picture, the new mommy penned:
"The only selfie I took throughout pregnancy. The only. Here at almost 32 weeks."
Well, this is not the first time that Chinmayi shut the trollers questioning her pregnancy. Earlier, she had received a lot of bashing from her fans, who asked if she had her babies through a surrogate mother. On June 21, 2022, the singer posted a picture note to rubbish all the rumours and gave a befitting reply to the trolls. In her note, she clearly stated that she likes to keep her life under wraps. An excerpt from her note could be read as:
“I’m absolutely loving these people who are dm-ing me asking if I had twins through a surrogate just because I didn’t post photos of me being pregnant. Only those who were my innermost circle knew because I was protecting myself.”

Further in the note, the new mommy mentioned that being a private person, maintaining her kids' privacy is her priority. She added that she would not post their pictures on social media anytime soon. Revealing that she had chanted bhajan during her C-section delivery, Chinmayi concluded:
“I was and will always be extremely guarded about by personal life, my family, my friends circle. Photos of our kids won’t be on our socials either for a long while. And if you need to know I actually *sang* a bhajan during the caesarean as our twins entered the world. Get a grip of that more on this later. But for now this is enough.”
Chinmayi had tied the knot on May 5, 2014, with the man of her dreams, Rahul Ravindran, in a traditional wedding ceremony.
