Popular television actress, Charu Asopa is currently basking in the glory of motherhood and is living the best life with her daughter, Ziana Sen. For the unversed, Charu Asopa and her hubby, Rajeev Sen were blessed with a baby girl, Ziana on November 1, 2021. Charu had given birth to her daughter via C-section delivery, and she had to go through postpartum depression after welcoming her baby girl.
On May 1, 2022, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen's baby girl, Ziana had turned six-month-old, and the doting parents had a fun-filled celebration. On her special day, Ziana had looked cute as a button in an orange and white-hued checkered dungaree paired with a matching hat. From cutting Ziana's birthday cake to enjoying a delicious lunch buffet, Charu's family had a gala time at the luxurious resorts of the city of joy, ITC Royal Bengal.
In an interview with TellyChakkar, Charu Asopa opened up about about her post pregnancy journey and revealed that she had experienced postpartum depression after giving birth to her daughter, Ziana. Revealing how she dealt with it, Charu shared that she had started practising self love and started focusing on herself along with her baby girl. She said:
"Ofcourse, at first you are paying attention on yourself but now, you have to focus on your baby. But I would like to tell all the new mothers that self love is also very important. It is necessary to take care of the baby and yourself. Post partum comes in where you feel that you individuality is lost somewhere. I feel hungry since I am feeding but instead of eating unhealthy and junk, I have a fruit or a salad."
Charu Asopa is a hands-on mommy, and she has been living her motherhood journey to the fullest while fulfilling her work commitments. In the same interview, the new mommy revealed that she had started keeping herself busy after Ziana's birth and it had helped her overcome postpartum depression. Sharing that now she has the confidence to manage everything in life, Charu added:
"When Ziana was born I took care of her and at the same time do my blogging. I kept myself busy and divided my time. It was hectic but it helped me to deal with post partum. So I managed it well. It has been six months now so I have that confidence that I can manage everything. As they say ek maa sab kuch kar sakti hai."
Further in the interview, Charu Asopa revealed that she had started working out after two months of giving birth to her daughter. The actress also shared a bit of advice for the new mommies out there and mentioned that every pregnancy is different. Adding that the young mothers should always listen to the doctors when it comes to their newborn's health, Charu said:
"So after two months when I started working out, people used to say I should not work out and all so rule number one is listen to your doctor. Don’t listen to other people who teach you how to keep your child. Every child is different and so is every mother. Every pregnancy is also different. Go with your instinct. If you feel your child is unwell and you should take him to the doctor you should. Don’t listen to people who tell you that this is normal fever and unnecessary. Go with your instinct."
We love how Charu Asopa dotes on her baby girl, Ziana!
