It was Rajeev's sister, Sushmita Sen, who had confirmed her brother's relationship with Charu on May 04, 2019. The duo had gotten married in Goa as per Rajasthani as well as Bengali rituals. In an interview with the Bombay Times, television actress, Charu Asopa talked about the ongoing trouble in her marital life with husband, Rajeev Sen. For the uninitiated, both of them are not living together anymore and the fans of this beautiful couple are quite worried about their marriage. As a result, the actress has come forward and talked about the way she's handling the situation. Charu Asopa explained, "If my marriage is destined to get better, it will. I have left it to God. If there is light at the end of the tunnel, I am sure I will see it someday." Well, there are chances that the couple is still in touch because a few days back, Rajeev Sen had posted a picture his video call with his wife on Instagram. According to reports by the Bombay Times, Charu Asopa and her husband, Rajeev aren't living together anymore. Quoting a source close to the couple, BT had written, "Charu and Rajeev had serious compatibility issues right from the beginning. Things finally came to a head, and Rajeev left for Delhi. The two have not been in touch since then. While Charu has dropped his surname on social media, he has blocked her from all channels of communication." When BT had contacted Rajeev Sen, he had refused to talk about it and had said, "No comments. I don't want to talk about it. I am enjoying being in Delhi and am so much at peace."
Not long ago, Charu Asopa had revealed how married life is treating her in a conversation with ETimes TV. She had explained, "I am still discovering so many things about Rajeev. Though we have divided our chores sometimes, we switch. But we also fight at times. Marriage has been a roller-coaster ride so far. However, I do miss our dinner dates." If she is planning to make a comeback after marriage, Charu had said, "After marriage, I was on a break. So just before the lockdown, I thought that I had rested a lot and now I should come back. But now with lockdown 4.0, it feels too much."
Charu Asopa Sen and her hubby, Rajeev Sen surely look like a match made straight out of heaven despite their current quarrels. In an interview with the Bombay Times, the Mere Angne Mein actress had revealed if it was love at first sight for them. She had shared, "After our first meeting, we had decided to catch up again over coffee, but I left for my hometown, Bikaner. I was on a much-needed break after my show, Jiji Maa, ended. In fact, I hadn't decided when to return. However, as luck would have it, I was offered KarnSangini and had to report on the set the very next day."
