Television actress, Charu Asopa and her husband, Rajeev Sen's massive fan base were left shocked when the couple announced the news of their separation. Since then, the couple has constantly hit the headlines for their blame games while taking the legal route. However, even though the estranged couple is going through a tough phase, they never miss a chance to take the best care of their daughter, Ziana Sen. Glimpses of the same are found on their respective social media handles.
For instance, on August 20, 2022, Charu Asopa had taken to her IG handle and shared a series of pictures with her daughter, Ziana Sen to mark the auspicious celebration of Janmashtami. In the pictures, Charu donned a Rajputana attire, which included a bandhani lehenga choli and looked gorgeous. She teamed her look with a choker neckpiece, matching earrings, a maang teeka, a matha patti, a huge nath, and matching bangles. On the other hand, Ziana looked adorable, donning a Krishna costume. Reportedly, amidst the ugly spats between the duo, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen have been approached for one of the most controversial reality TV shows, Bigg Boss. In an interview with ETimes, Charu confirmed that she was contacted for the show. However, she is unknown to the fact whether Rajeev is approved for the same or not. While mentioning that she has no problem doing a show with her estranged husband, Rajeev, she said:
"Yes, I have been contacted by the makers for the upcoming season but I have no clue about Rajeev. Having said that, I don’t have any problem doing a show with him. Work is work.”
In another interview with ETimes, Rajeev Sen confirmed that he was also approached to participate in Bigg Boss 16. However, she was quite shocked upon knowing that his estranged wife, Charu was also contacted for the same. Afterwards, he was asked whether he is comfortable with Charu's participation. To this, while mentioning that he is still contemplating the offer, he said:
“So far, they have only been keen on me. They never spoke about Charu. I don’t know myself. I have mixed reactions to Bigg Boss from my family and friends. So, let’s see how things work out. I am still thinking about the offer."

Earlier in an interview with Etimes, Charu Asopa had bared her heart out about how things are still not good between her and Rajeev Sen. She was also asked about Rajeev's IG post and that he had complimented her in one of his Vlogs. To this, Charu mentioned that she is unknown to all of this as the couple had blocked each other on Instagram. Revealing the same, she had said:
"First, it’s an old picture. I had no clue about the post, as Rajeev and I have blocked each other on Instagram. I was inundated with messages and calls regarding the post. People shared screenshots of the post with me and that’s how I got to know about it. I have no idea why he posted the picture because a couple of days ago, I sent him a draft for divorce by mutual consent. Rajeev, however, wanted to incorporate some changes in it and told us that he was in discussion with his lawyer. We are still waiting for his lawyer to revert. My friends told me that he spoke about me even in his vlog."
