"Motherhood: all love begins and ends there." —Robert Browning. Motherhood has a very overwhelming feeling, it brings joy and happiness, but it also puts a mother under many responsibilities. It's a duty to grow a little human with all the proper education, care and love and make him or her a better human being in life. It's a journey where a mother learns every little detail of her child, and in the process, she never rests. It's beautiful, scary, loving and a lot more fun!
Just like that, television actress, Charu Asopa, who had become a mommy to an adorable daughter on November 1, 2021, shares the same experiences. For the unversed, Charu had tied the knot with the love of her life, Rajeev Sen, who is a businessman and Sushmita Sen's brother in 2019. The much-in-love couple has been feeling all of the emotions as they have crossed six months of their parenthood journey with their baby girl, whom they have named Ziana. Now, in an exclusive interview with BollywoodShaadis, Charu Asopa opened up about her journey, shared the healthcare tips that she swears by for Ziana and many more!
In the candid chat, the six-month-old mamma, Charu Asopa Sen opened up about how has been her journey so far. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that it has been wonderful and at the same time she has been learning something or the other from her little one every day, which makes it more beautiful. She said:
"It's wonderful. Main yeh jo experience kar rahi hu yeh har maa karti hai (what I am experiencing, every mom does). It's a beautiful journey, it's a beautiful feeling to become a mother. As a mother, uske saath kuch na kuch naya sikhti hu, kuch na kuch naya hota hai. Maza aa raha hai (I am learning something from her every day. With her every day is so fun. I am loving it)."
When Charu asked how did she feel when she had first held her daughter, Ziana, the new mommy got emotional and shared her experience. She revealed that she had cried more than Ziana after holding her. Charu said:
"It was overwhelming. I cried a lot. I cried even more than Ziana. It was an amazing feeling. Abhi bhi main jab yaad karti hu, I get goosebumps."
Gorgeous mommy, Charu gave a perfect answer when she was asked whether being a celeb mother is an easy task or a tough one. She shared that every mom is the same, whether she is a working, a celebrity or a normal mom. In her words:
"Moms are moms. There's nothing like celeb mom or normal mom. Har maa ek jaisi hoti hai. Har maa ki responsibility ek jaisi hoti hai. Har maa aapne bacche ko utna hi pyaar karti hai. Maa banna hi ek bahut badi responsibility hai, ek blessing hai. (Every mom are same, they have similar responsibilities, love and care for their children. Being a mom is a blessing)."
Talking about her delivery, Charu mentioned that she had a C-section delivery as she had suffered from placenta calcification, and the doctors weren't sure whether the baby could take the labour. So they had opted for C-section delivery. She further mentioned that when everyone saw Ziana, they all were very happy and excited to meet the little one. Sharing how Ziana was after delivery, the mommy said that she was too tiny, only 2.9kgs.
When Charu Asopa was asked to share a fun incident with Ziana, the mommy mentioned that every day with her is so much fun. Something or the other is happening around her. Talking about the same, Charu revealed a super cute incident with Ziana and said:
"We were going out for dinner, and we thought ki woh so jaegi toh usko ghar pe chorke jaate hai, lekin jaise hi usne mere hatho mein purse dekha, she started crying. It's like usko pata chal gaya ki humlog kahin jaa rahe hai and phir humlog usko leke gaye."
The one healthcare tip Charu Asopa swears by for her daughter is a complete and proper sleep cycle. Sharing her opinion on it, the newbie mommy mentioned:
"I think bacche ki neend puri hona bahut zaroori hai. Agar koi baccha acche se so raha hai toh woh acche se khayega. Toh mujhe aise lagta hai ki bacche ki neend acche puri honi chahiye. (A child will eat better if he or she sleeps properly. As per my opinion, I think a child needs proper rest and a complete sleep cycle)."
On this Mother's day, the six-month-old mommy, Charu Asopa gave a special tip to all the newbie mothers out there. She said that medicine should not be the first answer to your baby's crying. She mentioned:
"If your baby is feeling some kind of discomfort, then try to find what's bothering your child and try to distract the little one with something else. Immediately you should not put your baby under medication. Bacche ka dhyan divert kardo toh bahut kuch solve ho jati hai. Agar kuch major ho toh dawai dena padhta hai otherwise ghumake you can divert your baby's attention from the discomfort."
Concluding the interview, Charu Asopa answered to all her fans and said she is returning to television real soon. After being with Ziana for six months, she got the confidence that now she can return to the sets and be a working mommy. In her words:
"Abhi thoda confidence aa gaya hai ki main usko sambhal sakti hu shoot ke sath sath. Usko aapne sets pe le jaa sakti hu aur ghar mein bhi kaafi log hai uska dhyan rakhne ke liye toh kuch main shoots ke liye nikaal sakti hu. Usko bass ek cheez hai usko aas pass mummy dikhni chahiye toh she will be alright. (Now I have gained the confidence to do shoots along with Ziana. I can now take her to the shoots, I have a lot of people at home who can take good care of my daughter. So I think I can take out some time for my shoots)."
Well, we can't wait to see Charu Asopa back on the shooting floors and acing her television character as well as her real-life mommy's role! She was last seen in Akbar Ka Bal Birbal.
