Charu Asopa has become a name that has hit the headlines for her personal life more than her television career. The talented actor has become a constant cornerstone of criticism and trolling ever since she announced separation from her husband, Rajeev Sen.
And this time around, it seems that the actress has been again a victim of brutal trolling, courtesy of her dance video that she shared on her IG handle. The video features Charu dancing to the tunes of the popular yet controversial song, Besharam Rang, from the upcoming film, Pathaan. In the video, Charu is spotted in a powder pink bodycon short dress, that she paired with a matching jacket and a pair of white sneakers. She is later joined in her dance by her one-year-old daughter, Zianna.

As soon as Charu posted the video, a section of trollers was quick to take offence at the actress who showed her swift moves. While someone judged her for her choice of outfit, some others called her a cheap carbon copy of Deepika Padukone. However, the hate for her went far-fetched when a few netizens began to body-shame the actress.
Charu Asopa’s life has been far from a bed of roses, as she has often been made to bear the brunt of extensive criticism and trolling. Ever since the news of her married life taking an ugly turn hit the news, people began to judge her and even abuse her on social media to the worst extent.

For the unversed, Charu got married to Sushmita Sen’s brother, Rajeev Sen in an elaborate destination wedding in Bikaner in the year 2019. However, it was reported that within months of getting married, the couple landed over compatibility issues and decided to live separately. Remaining hush-hush during this phase of their marital spat, they even deleted their wedding pictures from their social media.
Ever since the duo’s life has seen constant phases of drifting apart and coming together. However, these times too did not go smoothly for the couple, as the two occasionally spoke about it all in public. And unfortunately, as both Charu and Rajeev began to move poles apart, their life became a constant spectacle in public, and people began taking advantage of their vulnerable situations through social media trolling.
Fast forward to today, the duo has once and for all decided to head for a divorce while deciding to co-parent their one-year-old daughter, Zianna, at the same time.
