Charlize Theron Reveals Her Two Daughters Love Being Part Of Her Dating Life, 'Want To Be Involved'

Charlize Theron is a popular actress, who is best-known for her strong performances in Apex, The Old Guard 2, Two for the Money, Murder Mystery 2 and more. Over the years, Charlize Theron has often made headlines after her father's traumatic death. Recently, during her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress revealed her kids' honest reaction to her dating life. 

Charlize Theron’s kids enjoy seeing her dating life

Recently, Charlize Theron appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, during which she opened up about her dating life and how her kids reacted to it. During the conversation, the much-loved actress explained that her two daughters, Jackson and August now enjoy being a part of her dating life. The little angels take interest in whom Charlize is texting. Charlize Theron was quoted as saying:

"My kids are at an age now where they actually enjoy that I'm dating because they want to be involved. It's really funny how I was scared they'd be threatened by it, and now they're like, ‘Mom, is he texting you? Like, go on the date, mom.'"

Further, Charlize Theron mentioned that even though her daughters enjoy her dating life, settling down is not a priority for her right now. Charlize revealed that living in the same house might be difficult for her at the moment; however, that perspective can change once her daughters grow old. In her words:

"I don't think I could ever live with somebody again. I would love for you to be close, like buy the house down the street, but I don't know if I can. Maybe it's because I still have my daughters in the house and maybe that will change when I'm an empty nester. I love also prioritizing my kids and that has never felt like the wrong move for me, and you seem the same way." 

Charlize Theron’s dating life

Over the years, Charlize Theron has often made headlines for her personal life. According to a report by People Magazine, Charlize Theron has had her share of boyfriends. Before, she made it big in Hollywood, Charlize had a relationship with Craig Bierko. They began dating in 1996, only to part ways two years later in 1998. Over the years, she has dated Stephan Jenkins, Stuart Townsend and Sean Penn. In late 2017, she was also rumoured to date Alexander Skarsgård. Reportedly, the rumours began while they worked on the film, Long Shot.

It is worth mentioning that Charlize Theron has never been married; however, she is a mother to two children. For the unversed, Charlize adopted her first daughter, Jackson in 2012 and later in 2015, she adopted another daughter, August. Before adopting her first daughter, Charlize Theron explained:

"I became a mom right before we started shooting. At least my child will forever have the fun fact of 'I spent most of the first year of my life in a war rig.'"
