Chappell Roan Controversy Deepens As Her Bodyguard Admits Role In Jude Law Daughter Incident

A fresh twist has come in the controversy around Chappell Roan, after the bodyguard involved in the hotel incident finally spoke up. The situation had gone viral after an 11-year-old girl was left in tears in a Brazilian hotel lobby. Now, the man at the centre of it, Pascal Duvier, has come forward and taken responsibility. At the same time, he clearly stated that he was not working for Chappell Roan, supporting what the singer had already shared earlier.

Bodyguard Pascal Duvier admits involvement and takes responsibility while denying connection to Chappell Roan's security team

Pascal Duvier confirmed that he was the bodyguard involved in the moment that upset the child. He made it clear that his actions were his own and not connected to Chappell Roan or her team. He expressed by saying:

 “I take full responsibility for the interactions. I was at the hotel on behalf of another individual, and I was not part of the personal security team of Chappell Roan. The actions I took were not on behalf of Chappell Roan, her personal security team, her management, or any other individuals.”

With this, Pascal Duvier backed up what Chappell Roan had already shared earlier, that the guard involved was not hired by her. He also tried to explain why he reacted the way he did. According to him, the decision came from the situation around him at that moment. Duvier shared that there were security concerns and previous incidents that made him act more strictly than usual. Still, even while explaining his side, he admitted that things did not go the right way in the end.

The incident became widely talked about after reports revealed that the child involved is the daughter of Jude Law. Her stepfather is Jorginho, who brought even more public attention to the situation. As per details reported earlier, the young girl was simply walking past a breakfast table where Chappell Roan was sitting in a hotel in Brazil. During that moment, the bodyguard stepped in and strongly warned both the girl and her mother. The interaction became intense enough that the child ended up crying. 

This led to backlash online, with people questioning what exactly happened and whether it was handled properly. Pascal Duvier, while reflecting on the moment, expressed by quoting: 

“I made a judgment call based on information we obtained from the hotel, events I had witnessed in the days prior and the heightened overall security risk of our location. My sole interaction with the mother was calm and with good intentions, and the outcome of the encounter is regretful.”

Before this statement came out, Chappell Roan had already apologised publicly. She had also clarified that the security guard involved was not part of her team. Now, with Duvier speaking openly, the situation is clearer. He has accepted his role in what happened, while also drawing a clear line between his actions and Chappell Roan’s responsibility. 

After Pascal Duvier’s statement, the sequence of events now stands clarified. He was present at the hotel for another client. He approached the child and her mother, and his actions were not linked to Chappell Roan or her team. With both sides now on record, there have been no additional statements from the family involved since the incident in Brazil.
