Television star Chahatt Khanna is going through a similar phase in her life when she shocked the world by hinting that she is now a ‘single mom’. A mother of two adorable daughters- Zoharr and Amaira, Chahatt is not bogged down by whatever’s brewing in her personal front and is taking every possible measure to ensure that her kids are not affected by her decision of separating from her now estranged husband, Farhan Mirza. From celebrating elder daughter, Zoharr’s birthday in a plush 5-star restaurant to walking the ramp for Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018, Chahatt is surely riding high in life.
As per latest social media updates, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain star has bought a house for herself and recently performed a griha pravesh puja along with her two kids and in the presence of her parents. Sharing an Instagram video from the puja, Chahatt wrote, “My big day. God bless all. Isn’t it amazing? Meanwhile, Chahatt and her hubby, Farhan’s separation has been doing rounds in the news for quite a while. After going missing from his life, Farhan, in an interview with SpotboyE stated that he and his wife, Chahatt finally had a conversation about their divorce. He revealed, “I told her, ‘No matter what you have done, I have forgiven you for it. I love you and I love my children, so please just come home.’ I did tell her that I wasn’t willing to go to the media and discuss what happened between us. But her sudden disappearance with my children and summons on me and my mother forced me to do that. I haven’t defamed her. In fact, she has defamed me by calling me her ex-husband, estranged husband, divorced husband when we are still very much married. Where had Chahatt and her kids residing all this while? Farhan shared, “She is at her sister’s house in Lokhandwala, Andheri West. But they still didn’t share the exact address. She told me, ‘I will get back to you and make you meet your kids.’ But I don’t understand why are my children staying at other’s house when they have one of their own. I also asked her why did she disappear like that? She said she doesn’t want to be with me. I told her if you don’t want to be with me after 7 years of marriage, at least give me a reason for it. Disappearing like this and building pressure for a divorce will not help. I need my answers. I am not afraid of anyone. In today’s era people move on, they walk out. But I am not that person. I have ethics and morals. I remember my vows which I took with my wife. I need to know after 7 years why my wife disappeared like this.”
Chahatt and her hubby have been living separately for quite a while and the former has filed for a divorce. Confirming the same to BollywoodLife, this is what the Ek Main Ek Tum star stated, “It’s my personal life and I don’t need to give clarification to any other than my family, but yes it’s true, its been some weeks we have separated and filing for a divorce, reasons are too personal to be disclosed.
