Ever since Dil Dhadakne Do was released, Gallan Goodiyan is that one perfect song for a group to sing along and dance along to, at every wedding. Nothing spells a wedding celebration like a happy Punjabi song and here we are! In a video going viral from Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s sangeet, everyone in the families along with the entire B-town clan can be seen dancing on the song, Gallan Goodiyan and giving us all goals for our next family function.
Amongst the videos that went viral from the Antakshari round, a video of Mukesh Ambani and Mona Mehta grooving to the Samdhi Samdhan song from the film, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! has made us super nostalgic. While samdhan, Mona Mehta sang, “Hum Ko Jo Hai Nibhana Vo Naazuk Bandhan Hai, Samne Samdhi Ji Gaa Rahi Samdhan Hai…” post which, they greet each other by joining hands. And in the next turn, Mukesh sings Aye Meri Zohra Jabeen from the film, Waqt for his wife, Nita Ambani. Here’s the video:

Do you remember the dance performances from Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s star-studded sangeet ceremony in Udaipur? From Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan, Nita Ambani-Mukesh Ambani to Radhika Merchant-Anant Ambani, Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Abhishek Bachchan, amongst others danced their hearts out at the sangeet ceremony. But the newbie husband and wife, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s performance stole the limelight. Though Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shook their legs on Chogada, Tareefan and other peppy numbers at Isha and Anand’s sangeet, it was their DJ performance together on the song Gallan Goodiyan which won our hearts. While Deepika looked mesmerising in a red saree teamed with a halter-neck blouse and kundan neckpiece accentuating her look, Ranveer looked dapper as always in a black suit. Check out the video here:
And in May 2018, at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding, her father, Anil Kapoor gave a jhakaas performance on his iconic dance number, My Name Is Lakhan. Later when the song, Gallan Goodiyan was played from his film, everyone including Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and the newly-wedded couple, Sonam and Anand joined him. Coming back to Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s union in March, let us share with you all the details about their upcoming wedding functions. An India Today report contained details, which could be read as, “The Mangal Baaraat will assemble at the Trident in Mumbai at 3.30pm on Saturday. From the Trident, the baaraatis are to leave for the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex. A high tea will be hosted for the guests at Jio World Centre at 6.30pm on March 9. Akash and Shloka's wedding ceremony will take place at 7.30pm.” Apart from this, a post-wedding celebration will be held on March 10, 2019, and a reception will be hosted on March 11, 2019, for people belonging to the world of business, Bollywood, politics and cricket.
