According to a report by Fandom Wire, Callum Turner and his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Kirby reportedly broke up in early 2020. While they never publicly revealed the reason, a source close to them once had a conversation with Daily Mail and shared that both Callum and Vanessa were struggling in their respective careers, due to which their personal bond began to suffer. Eventually, they grew apart. The source was quoted as saying:

"It’s a really exciting time for them both. But as their careers have taken off, their relationship has suffered and they have gradually grown apart. It’s very sad as they were once so close."

Expressing her happiness, Dua Lipa had shared:
