As per reports, the duo got separated on May 9, 2026, and a few days later, on May 18, 2026, it was Jelly Roll, who initiated divorce, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’. Amid that, an attorney revealed the possibility of a messy divorce, leading to the distribution of Jelly Roll’s wealth, which is around USD 20 million.

Recently, a divorce attorney named Isaiah Vallejo-Juste shared his thoughts on Jelly and Bunnie's separation and the possibility of the singer's wealth being dragged into it. However, it is worth mentioning that Isaiah isn't representing either party. The divorce attorney shared that if the assets are subject to distribution and if there is a disagreement, then it might lead to a messy separation. The attorney was quoted as saying:

"Both parties have possible exposure when it comes to the division of assets. However, the extent of the exposure will be determined by whether the assets they own are marital assets and subject to distribution. If the parties are going to come to an agreement, then they need to do so together. If there is disagreement as to how to divide things, then yes, the divorce can get messy, but it is counsel’s job to clean up the mess and get it done."

Well, for those who do not know, Jelly Roll has a massive net worth of USD 20 million, whereas his estranged wife, Bunnie XO has a net worth of USD 7 million, according to reports. As per this, the chances of asset distribution are high. When the divorce attorney was asked if Bunnie’s support towards Jelly in his career make a difference in the wealth distribution, Isaiah explained:

"Yes, it can. If there is a prenuptial agreement, the court might be guided by that. However, a court can consider a broad variety of factors in determining the proper classification of property. Generally speaking, property acquired during the marriage may be considered marital and subject to distribution."

As per the insider, the couple started facing conflicts, leading to frequent disagreements. A major conflict between them was that Jelly is preaching the Christian way of living, while his now-estranged wife, Bunnie was a sex worker and continued to pose naked. Reportedly, Jelly was embarrassed by Bunnie. The source shared:

"There is just such a conflict in what’s going on. He’s preaching this Christian way of life. She’s posing mostly naked and talking about porn and penises on her podcast. At every turn she’s just kind of embarrassing him and wrecking every PR narrative that they’re trying to create. This is the talk of the town [in Nashville]."
