Linda Suspected Hulk Hogan's Affair With Daughter, Brooke's Friend, Even Before She Made It Public

In a recent interview, she revealed how her late father's affair with one of her best friends caused a rift between her and Hulk Hogan. Hulk was married to Linda for more than 20 years, and they welcomed two kids.
However, after years of being together, the couple called it quits. Linda filed for divorce in 2007, and in 2009, it was finalized. While Hulk stated that Linda's decision to divorce him came as a shock, reports about his affair with his daughter's friend were already making headlines.
Linda suspected Hulk Hogan's affair with Brooke's friend, even before things became public
Brooke's close friend, Christiane Plante, herself admitted to having an affair with the legendary wrestler. In a recent conversation, Brooke again talked about the same; however, it was Linda who took to one of the post's comment sections and wrote that Hulk 'didn't do it'. Brooke took no time to slam the recent comment from her mother, while shutting down her way of rewriting the story. She also took to her social media handle and shared two screenshots, including the recent comment from Linda, and a statement from her book, where she talked about her suspicion coming true.
Yes! Even before Christiane Plante made things public, Linda had her suspicion all along, and she once talked about the same. In an interview on E! True Hollywood Story, Linda recalled the particular atmosphere when she thought something was going on between Hulk and the then-receptionist of Brooke's record label, Christiane Plante. This happened during the third episode of Hogan Knows Best, and according to Linda, there was tension, and she could feel it.
As they say, a woman's intuition could never be wrong; the same was the case with Linda. In the interview, she mentioned that Hulk was not even able to make eye contact with her, and couldn't even look at her. She also talked about Plante and said she would always hang out at their private home. Linda eventually reached a point from which she didn't want to return.
Linda added that it was really difficult, and it was visible how the tension intensified towards the end of their show. In the interview, it was also revealed that Hulk and Brooke's friend slept together five times. Speaking about her suspicion, Linda said:
"I was feeling it. He couldn't look at me. There was zero eye contact, like he just couldn't face me anymore. She was this beautiful, fair-skinned brunette and just giant..., you know, and every time she'd come over to the house, she was never offbeat. I ended up being right, but it made filming difficult, and it made having to put your life in public difficult, and so I'm sure that towards the end of our show our tensions showed through, and it was to the point where I didn't care about a contract. I don't want to be on the show; I don't care. I'm leaving."
In her book, Linda again said she had suspected it all along. She revealed that when her daughter, Brooke, told her about Hulk's affair with Plante, she felt good. Brooke understood her mom's position, and it gave Linda confirmation that she made the right decision by ending her marriage with Hulk. Brooke recently shared a screenshot of this particular statement, as Linda said, 'he didn't do it,' when the topic of Hulk's affair with Plante was being discussed.
Linda feared that Hulk Hogan would kill her someday
In her book, Linda also talked about Hulk's behavior that used to scare her. She would fear that he would kill her someday. Linda stated that Hulk never had any remorse for doing what he did, and he never apologized for it. Sharing more about it, she wrote:
"Tore my shirt. He threw lamps. He held me down on the bed with his hands around my throat during arguments, slamming doors, pounding walls. I was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages. He did not feel remorse, and to this day he has not apologized for any of his actions. But that is something that scared me."
Christiane Plante, back in 2008, publicly revealed that she had an affair with her friend's father, Hulk. She mentioned that the relationship began when Linda had already ended her marriage to the wrestler. According to her, Linda had already left Hulk by then; the official papers had not been submitted. She also talked about the pain of her own actions that caused her to lose an amazing friend, Brooke.
