Bridget Fonda retired from Hollywood 24 years ago to live a private life. However, despite leaving the limelight, she is still remembered by her fans with immense love. She was previously photographed leaving a restaurant in the city. Her assistant accompanied her as they grabbed lunch and left. In contrast to her glam look in the '90s, she wore a casual striped tank top and black pants.

Why did Bridget Fonda leave Hollywood?
For those unaware, Bridget Fonda now lives a quiet life in Los Angeles. She stays with her husband, Danny Elfman, whom she married in 2003. The couple also has a son named Oliver, born in 2005. After welcoming her child, the former actress shifted her focus from film sets and red carpet to motherhood and spent most of her time raising her family.
Some observers believe her decision is one of the rare examples of a major Hollywood star voluntarily leaving fame at the peak of their career. A significant turning point came in the former actress's life in 2003 when she survived a serious car accident. However, it caused her a spinal injury. So, the incident also played a role in her decision to focus on her health, family, and personal life rather than the spotlight.
Bridget Fonda made a rare comment on her private life in 2023, declaring in a video obtained by the Daily Mail that it was "too nice being a civilian" to return to the spotlight. She denied even the slightest desire to return to the limelight. However, she was not the only famous person in her family. Bridget is the daughter of the Easy Rider star, Peter Fonda, and her aunt Jane Fonda is a two-time Academy Award winner.
Additionally, Bridget Fonda's grandfather, Henry Fonda, won an Oscar for his role in On Golden Pond in 1982. While the former actress has stayed away from the limelight, her husband, Danny Elfman, has often made headlines with several women accusing him of sexual harassment. While he denied composer Nomi Abadi’s claims, he later settled with her for USD 830,000.
