The late actress, Sridevi, needs no introduction. The diva began her career as a child artist and ruled in zillions of hearts with her divine beauty, unparalleled acting chops, pleasing personality, and more. In her personal life, the actress was married to Boney Kapoor, and they have two daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. However, it was back in 2018 when Sridevi's sudden demise left everyone utterly shocked. Boney, in several interviews, shared some unheard anecdotes about his late wife, Sridevi. And yet the same happened again, as he recently remarked that he was about to buy a home in Hyderabad for the late actress.
In an interview with iDream Media, Boney Kapoor added that he wanted to buy a house in Hyderabad as his late wife, Sridevi was loved there. The eminent filmmaker added that despite doing a lot of films, Sridevi had 70-80 Telugu movies. Well, there's no denying the fact that in several interviews Janhvi Kapoor, too had said that her mom had a special connection with the Telugu film industry, which even now, makes her feel like home. However, coming back to Boney's interview, the filmmaker heaped praises on Sridevi and added:
"Main Hyderabad me jo ghar soch raha tha for my wife to have another home here because she, besides doing a lot of Telugu films I think about 70-75 films in Telugu, she was loved here like she was loved in Hindi heartland. she was loved in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka...all over.. world over."

Going further in the interview, Boney Kapoor added that the reason he wanted to take a home in Hyderabad was because Sridevi was very comfortable living there. Recalling the fond memories with his wifey, Boney added how he and the actress used to relish some scrumptious Andhra dishes there. Boney also remarked that later, he didn't feel like buying a home. Boney can be quoted as saying:
"Ghar main Hyderabad me islye lena chah raha tha kyunki even she was very comfortable staying and we used to relish jo Andhra khaana hota hai and we used to relish that. Par khair uske baad dil nh kia ki kuch koshish karu idhar ghar lene ki. Or aata jaata rehta hu."
Every now and then, Boney Kapoor and his daughter, Janhvi talk about their Chennai home, wherein they still can feel the essence of the late actress, Sridevi. However, in an interview with The New Indian Express, Boney shared that whenever he comes to live in their Chennai home, it feels like he is living with his late wife, Sridevi, as the vibes are still there. Talking about the sweet memories with Sridevi from their courtship period, Boney remarked how they often used to sit together while he used to stare at her.

For those who don't know, Sridevi died of accidental drowning in a Dubai hotel's bathtub while attending a wedding in their family. However, in an old interview, Boney Kapoor added that Sridevi was on a strict diet, and she made sure that she was in shape to look good on screen. The filmmaker added that Sridevi used to have several blackouts. Talking more about the same, Boney revealed that Sridevi once faced the same incident as Dubai before. Speaking along the same line, Boney added that he once learned from Nagarjuna that during the shooting of one of her films, Sridevi fainted in the bathroom, leading her to have a broken tooth.
