Anusha Sen is one of the most famous faces in the television industry. The actress made her acting debut as a child artist in the serial, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. Apart from that, she was also seen in series like Internet Wala Love, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, and Baal Veer. However, in a recent podcast, Anushka talked about her love and admiration for the one and only Mahendra Singh Dhoni and revealed some unheard anecdotes about her bonding with him.
For those who don't know, Anushka Sen and Mahendra Singh Dhoni collaborated for 13-14 advertisements in a span of 7 years. However, recalling the deets of her first-ever meeting with Dhoni, Anushka, in a podcast with Humans of Bombay, added that when she met Dhoni for the first time, the eminent cricketer first asked her about her hometown, which is Ranchi. For those who don't know, Ranchi is also Dhoni's hometown. And it was the thing that bonded them. Anushka said:
"I went and met with him and he was like, So where are you from? I’m from Ranchi. You are also from Ranchi, right? And that created like the first bond and we were like ‘Yeah! Go Ranchi! Go Ranchi! Go Jharkhand."

Going forward in the interview, Anushka Sen talked about her experience of working with Dhoni. Anushka added that it feels like a hallucination to work with the former as he is nothing at all like high-profile celebrities. The actress also added that Dhoni treats everyone equally on the sets, be it the actors or anyone who's working behind the camera. Anushka further mentioned that MSD has taken photos with her parents and told them that they have a lovely daughter. Sharing how grounded Dhoni is, Anushka added that the player even waits to click photos with everyone on the sets after packing up. Anushka added:
"He was so sweet not only to me. The best part about him it’s that he treats everybody with respect, with equal respect. Doesn’t matter if you are somebody working behind the camera or if you are an actor."
Talking more about her bond with MSD, Anushka added that she and the cricketer bonded so much that she started calling him 'chachu'. She also received a piece of advice from Dhoni, which is too adorable. Anushka stated that Dhoni gave her a piece of advice on relationships and warned her to be cautious when it comes to dating people. Recalling Dhoni's advice, Anushka mentioned:
"Don't mess with you know this boy energy. You date very carefully."
On February 9, 2024, taking to her IG handle, the 21-year-old actress, Anushka Sen dropped glimpses of her new home, which she purchased. In the photos, Anushka was seen posing with her parents from the balcony of their dream home. Sharing the photos, Anushka penned a sweet note and introduced her abode to her fans. Ahead of it, the rising star also tick marked another achievement as she became a proud owner of a swanky ride back in 2020. There's no denying the fact that the diva worked really hard to make her dreams come true, which is extremely praiseworthy.

Back in 2023, Anushka Sen made the nation proud as she represented India at the United Nations Cop28 UAE Event. Taking to her IG handle, she dropped an array of photos from the event and thanked her fans and family members for being by her side. For the day, she was dolled up in a golden strappy dress featuring floral embroidery and stonework all over it.
