Late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were hailed as the power couple in the entertainment industry. The gorgeousness and her producer husband broke all the barriers of society to be together and built their home. Sridevi and Boney tied the knot in 1996, when the latter was still married to his first wife, Mona Shourie. Later, in the year 1997, Sridevi and Boney hopped onto their parenthood journey after they welcomed their daughter, Janhvi Kapoor. And with the arrival of their second daughter, Khushi Kapoor in 2000, their family got completed. The family of four were living a blissful life, until 2018, when Sridevi left for her heavenly abode, leaving her husband and daughters behind.
On October 13, 2023, Boney Kapoor took to his Instagram handle and dropped a picture of the memory wall of his house. And there is no doubt that his post screams nothing but love. Boney's latest post features some unseen glimpses of the producer with his late wife, Sridevi. And, oh, boy, their mushy moments simply melted our hearts. In the priceless pictures, Boney can be seen hugging Sridevi from the back and the duo looked adorable in their respective outfits. Sharing the picture that included multiple frames of the duo, Boney penned a note and revealed that Sridevi was pregnant with Janhvi when the photos were taken. In his words:
"Magic of Gautam Rajdakshya, these pictures were shot by him at his home while Sri was pregnant with Janhvi, created these images with just natural source of light."

When Sridevi got married to Boney Kapoor, reports were rife that the legendary actress was pregnant even before she officially got hitched. However, recently, in an interview with The New Indian Express, Boney opened up about rumours of Sridevi being pregnant with Janhvi Kapoor before their marriage and mentioned that they got married on June 2, 1996. However, after Sridevi's pregnancy was seen, they had to marry publicly in January 1997. Boney could be quoted as saying:
"My marriage to Sri took place in Shirdi, on June 2. That’s when we exchanged vows. We were there, we spent the night there. And it was only in January 1997, when her pregnancy was seen, that we had no choice but to marry publicly. In public, we were married only in January 1997. There are still some scribes who write that Janhvi was conceived before marriage."
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Boney had opened up bout his late wife, Sridevi. Talking about her, the producer revealed if he regrets the latter not watching their daughter, Janhvi's debut film, Dhadak. Elaborating more about it, Boney mentioned that they had watched the film's rushes when Sridevi was alive.

In one of his conversations with The New Indian Express, Boney talked about his contribution to his family member's career. Talking about the same, the producer mentioned that he did what felt right. He added that he guided his wife, Sridevi and his family members in their careers because it was his duty. In his words:
"Maine har wo cheez ki hai jo mujhe theek lagti thi. I thought it was my job and my duty, and I did that thinking that I was doing it for myself. If I guided Anil, it was not just for him, it was for us. If I guided Sri, it was not just for her, it was for us. If I guide my children today, whether it’s Arjun, Janhvi, or Anshula, as a matter of fact, Sanjay, whatever guidance they need, whatever my experience can give, it is just there."
