Popular Korean girl group singer, Jisoo and Itaewon Class actor, Ahn Bo Hyun are dating, as reported by Dispatch Korea. Later both their agencies issued a statement confirming their dating rumours. Jisoo is the first member of her girl band group, Blackpink, who has been confirmed to be in a relationship. As per their agencies, both Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun are getting to know each other and have ‘positive feelings’ for one another.
On 3 August 2023, the South Korean Media Agency, Dispatch, reported that Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun have been in a relationship since May, 2023. Dispatch also shared photos of the new couple at the Blackpink member’s house for a date night. Shortly after, both their agencies ‘YG Entertainment’ and ‘FN Entertainment’ confirmed the news. The agencies stated that the duo is getting to know each other and requested fans to bless them with warmth. They further added:
“They are getting to know each other with positive feelings. We would be thankful if you looked upon them with warmth.”

The report from Dispatch also shed light on the date nights of Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun. As per the reports, the couple has been having multiple date nights at Jisoo’s home as the couple wanted to maintain their privacy. It was also revealed that Ahn Bo Hyun adjusted his schedule per Jisoo’s convenience so that the couple could spend as much time together as possible. Ahn Bo Hyun would carry food takeouts at Jisoo’s house, and the two would bond over the meals. An insider also reported that:
“Jisoo is a member of a world star girl group. There was no other choice since there are limited date places. There were not many days Jisoo was in Korea. Ahn Bo Hyun coordinated his schedule to make sure it matched Jisoo’s so they could be together."
Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun are both doing well in their professional lives as well. Jisoo recently released her digital solo debut with the song, Flower. It went viral in no time and even opened further opportunities for Jisoo to drop more singles. On the other hand, Ahn Bo Hyun was last seen in the fantasy drama, See You In My 19th Life. The actor is reportedly cast as the main lead in the upcoming drama, Gold Spoon.

This is the first time that Jisoo is ever linked up with anyone, so naturally, her fans are very excited about the news. As soon as the dating news broke out, fans took to Twitter to congratulate the couple. Jisoo’s Snowdrop co-star, Jun Hae-In congratulated the couple on their new relationship. He further added:
“I hope that they will maintain a healthy and beautiful relationship."
