Mumbai Biker Riddhi Thakkar's Video About Never Wanting To Find Love Resurfaces After Her Death

Riddhi Thakkar was a 24-year-old biker from Mumbai who passed away on the morning of August 12, 2026. This was after her motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Balod district, Chhattisgarh. According to Riddhi's YouTube channel, named Ridewithridz, she had once spoken about never wanting to find love. She loved travel and adventure and was passionate about motorcycles.

Riddhi Thakkar had once taken to her YouTube channel to write a sad post about not having the desire to fall in love. She had shared a clip, and it looked like Riddhi was at a scenic place. She had shared a selfie in her biker avatar. The video showcased a beautiful hilly region, and in her caption, Riddhi wrote about not wanting to find love in her life. It read:

"I hope love never finds me. I am happy here."

Riddhi also had very good male friends, as in one of her travel videos she dedicated it to her male buddies. She had written about how having good male friends saves one from having any heartbreak. BollywoodShaadis could not confirm if Riddhi ever had a relationship, but one thing was clear: she was not chasing love. She loved going on long bike trails and living life one day at a time.

Riddhi lost her life near Marka Tola village on NH30 when her motorcycle was hit by a trailer truck in Chhattisgarh's Dhamtari district. Riddhi was from Kandivali West, Mumbai, and was riding with a group of 23 women. They were traveling from Mumbai and going towards Bastar when the collision occurred.

A Redditor commented, "Is it even possible in this case to avoid an accident when someone hits you from behind? It's not possible to constantly be looking in the rearview mirror all the time. I suppose accepting this risk is part of 2w riding."

Netizens are shocked that Riddhi passed away doing her favorite travel sport. A fan commented that they saw her stories as she was riding from Mumbai towards Raipur. After a while, Riddhi was no longer there as she met with an accident. "Life is truly unpredictable. One moment you’re riding, chasing roads and living the life you love, and the next everything can change", read a comment.

Due to the trailer truck collision from the opposite direction, Riddhi was left with serious injuries. After the accident, an emergency call was made to 112 for help. Riddhi was first taken to Charama for treatment. When her condition worsened, she was shifted to Dhamtari, but doctors stated that she had died.

There has been no update on when Riddhi's last rites will be conducted. Her body has been shifted from Dhamtari district hospital for a post-mortem. After all the formalities are done, Riddhi's body will be given to her family. Netizens have been discussing the sequence of events that may have led to Riddhi's accident. A Redditor speaking on the collision said:

Maybe, as it happens so many times, something like construction or an accident brought traffic to a halt, and the driver of the trailer just didn’t brake in time? Or maybe he just didn’t see her while changing lanes. Ride free, Riddhi. May you ride into paradise and keep riding those endless roads forever. Gone too soon. Om Shanti."
