Television's most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2 has been hitting all the headlines ever since it got premiered on June 17, 2023. However, off lately, the show has garnered a lot of attention after popular actress, Akanksha Puri and model, Jad Hadid kissed each other during a task. It became sensational news and the show's host, Salman Khan even slammed the two for kissing each other on national television. And now, the actress talked about the same after she got eliminated from the show in the recent Weekend Ka War episode.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Akanksha Puri opened up about her kiss with the model, Jad Hadid inside the Bigg Boss house and the controversies surrounding it. Talking about the same, the actress revealed how Jad wanted their kiss to be perfect, however, it was just a task and she was not interested in taking it to any other level. She also mentioned that Jad called her a 'bad kisser' after she didn't reciprocate to him the way he wanted their kiss to be. Elaborating more on it, she said:
"Jad Hadid took it too personally, he wanted it to be like a proper kiss between two lovers where you have to have that passion, you have to move your lips, your tongue, your this and that. I didn't want to do that and that's why I didn't reciprocate the way he wanted me to, and that's why he felt, Oh my God, you are a bad kisser. It was just a task that I had to finish in 30 seconds, which I did and I won."

Further, in the same interview, Akanksha slammed Jad for having double standards. Talking about the same, she revealed that until Salman Khan didn't say anything about their chemistry, he was all in love with her. However, the day Salman said that Jad and Manisha Rani's angle was working more, he flipped. Calling him spineless and fake, the actress mentioned that Jad used to say that he wanted to marry her. In her words:
"Somebody who has such strong feelings for you, who is saying, 'I want to marry you, I want to have someone like you in my life...' He's going all out in two days. Just after the host of the show, Salman Khan sir, during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode tells him that 'This angle is not working, this is looking a little fake. Manisha's angle is working more' So, all of a sudden, his feelings change. He for me, is spineless, he for me, is a fake, he for me, is a liar."
In the latest episode of the show, Bigg Boss OTT 2, Salman Khan was seen slamming Akanksha and Jad for their kiss. In a video from the episode, the actor could be seen disappointed with all the contestants of the show. He even asked everyone if whatever happened between Akanksha and Jad, was it according to Indian culture and values.

For the unversed, it was on June 29, 2023, when Akanksha and Jad were sharing a passionate kiss. Well, it was part of a challenge which Avinash Sachdev gave. The video of the same went spread like fire on the internet, leaving the entire country shocked.
