2022 seems like the happiest year for television celebrities. Happiness has been knocking on the door of celebrities in one or another form. And now, it's time for Bigg Boss fame, Priya Malik to cherish the new phase of her life. Wedding bells are ringing in the television industry as actress and poet, Priya Malik is all set to get hitched to the love of her life, Karan Bakshi, who is a Delhi-based entrepreneur.
Priya Malik, who has been part of shows like Sheer Qorma and Yeh Kali Kali Aankhein, is on cloud nine as she is heading towards spending her whole life with her long-term beau, Karan Bakshi. The Bigg Boss 9 contestant, Priya, had exchanged rings with Karan on October 28, 2019. For the unversed, this would be Priya's second marriage as previously she was married to Bhushan Malik. However, the couple got divorced in 2018.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Priya Malik shared that she is going to get married to the love of her life, Karan Bakshi in an intimate ceremony. The couple will get married in October this year at a Gurudwara in Delhi where Karan's parents had got hitched. The actress even revealed that the couple is going to host a mehendi and a cocktail party for their friends on October 8, 2022. In Priya's words:
"There's a lot of nervous excitement. Finally, it's happening. It is an intimate affair, with just close friends and family. All the events will be held in Delhi-NCR, and we will wrap up everything in one weekend."
In the same interview, Priya talked about the wedding preparations. The Kali Kali Aankhein actress revealed that she has taken most of the responsibilities on her shoulders. Talking about the same, Priya said:
"I'm sorted in terms of venues and events. In spite of us trying to keep it simple, planning a wedding is such a complicated affair. In hindsight, I wish I had hired a wedding planner and not decided to be a DIY bride."
Unlike regular wedding invitations, the couple is gearing up to send unique paperless invites to the guests. Moreover, like every other bride, Priya Malik is also on cloud nine and is preparing for her big day's ensemble with full enthusiasm. Talking about her wedding outfit, Priya revealed:
"I'm going with a vintage bridal look with one of my favourite designers, Divani. I wanted to keep it classic as we've opted for a gurudwara ceremony. For the remaining ceremonies too, I'm keeping it really minimal and classy."
Earlier in an interview with Bollywood Life, Priya Malik had opened up about her relationship with Karan Bakshi and why she had kept her engagement private. The actress had mentioned that since she had not announced her divorce publically, she was being private about her relationship with Karan. In her words:
"This is going to be my second marriage. And I had not announced my divorce publicly. So I was being really private about our relationship. And since our relationship has finally been accepted, we decided to make it public."

Priya Malik and Karan Bakshi started dating in 2018. Further, in the same interview, Priya had opened up about her first meeting with Karan. Talking about the same, Priya shared that she and Karan used to live in the same building, and they met in the lift of the building. In her words:
"It was very strange. It happened in 2017, one year after Bigg Boss. I was living in this building in Bandstand called Sea Bird and Karan was also living there. I lived there for almost one year but I didn't know who my neighbour is. And that day after coming back home from the gym I entered the lift and there was this guy. He just spoke with me normally, 'Oh you live here', the normal question jo log puchte hai. And I was really annoyed at that time, and I was like 'Who is this random guy and trying to talk to me?' I didn't give him much information but I told him that I live on the 14th floor and he told that he lives on the 15th floor."
