Big Brother Star Mallory Aurichio Looks Back On Drew Campbell's Betrayal After Eviction, 'Surprised'

Bringing back the nostalgic “BB Time Trip” theme, the show has begun with 17 houseguests battling it out for a USD 750,000 prize. While viewers are already used to seeing major blindsides and shifting alliances in the game, what no one saw coming was contestant Mallory Aurichio’s recent eviction. Now, in a new interview, Mallory opened up about how betrayed she felt by Drew Campbell’s actions.

Mallory Aurichio’s eviction from Big Brother 28 was nothing short of emotional. Following this, she sat down for an interview with Page Six, where she opened up about Drew Campbell's betrayal. She admitted that she was “surprised about a lot of stuff that Drew has done.”
Mallory called out the 22-year-old for playing both sides of the house. She accused him of “running information back” to the “Icons” alliance featuring Dee Valladares, Rick Devens, and Angela Murray. She added:
“I always knew he was tight with the ‘Icons’ and I knew he talked too much, but I had been kind of assuming he had my best interests and he didn’t.”
Mallory claimed that she initially believed Drew was completely loyal to their “FAP” alliance with Barrett Pfeiffer and Melody Morris. This is why she was completely taken aback that Drew told Kamu Kirk that she was targeting him.
Not mincing her words, Mallory said that she thinks Drew still does not have a great shot at winning the game irrespective of his deceitful gameplay. She said:
“Even though I think Barrett has been doing similar things as Drew, he’s still playing a much better game than Drew. I can’t even really put the words for the differences, but people really don’t like Drew. But people still trust Barrett, and Barrett showed me loyalty in the end.”
When asked about whom she thinks could be the winner of Big Brother 28 among the remaining newbies, Mallory said that the position could definitely go to Yash Patel. According to the reality star, everybody likes Yash. She gushed about how he is really good at competitions and how the fact that everyone assumed Yash was working with them, even though he wasn’t, became a huge advantage for him. Furthermore, Mallory said that Yash was only on the verge of eviction during the first week, and he hasn’t been on the block for a really long time.
However, among the “Icons,” Mallory believes that Rick Devens has been playing the best game. She appreciated how smart and calculated he is, as well as the big moves he has made throughout the game.
Mallory Aurichio did acknowledge in the interview that, compared to the other contestants, the trio had a relatively easy ride since the show began. For instance, she noted how they were the only ones who competed in the first HOH. Following this, all three of them were also voted into the time capsule. She revealed:
“Coming in as three ‘Icons,’ you kind of have an alliance already formed, and Dee and Devans knew each other outside of here. So they definitely did have some upper hands.”

Drew, Mallory, and Taylor Brown were the contestants that were initially up for eviction. Among the three, everyone had believed that Drew was the one going home, especially because Dee and Devans were planning to get rid of him. Things took a turn after the Blockbuster competition when Drew won and saved himself from the block.
With Mallory and Taylor left as the remaining choices, the house voted for the former on eviction night. The vote was 6 to 2, with only Barrett and Melody voting to keep her.
