Kajal has been in the industry for more than a decade, starting in 2011. She has been a part of several projects over the years. Recently, she appeared on a show and made some claims against her co-stars, including Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua and Amrapali Dubey.
Kajal's first project was Sugna, and apart from that, she was seen in projects like Pratigya 2, Devra Bhail Deewana, Patna Se Pakistan, Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna, Mai Sehra Bandh Ke Aaunga, Balam Ji Love You, Coolie No. 1, and more. Kajal recently shared that back in 2008, she was about to do a film with Pawan Singh, which couldn't happen as she said 'no' to an unplanned kissing scene that was a part of it.
Kajal Raghwani claims that Pawan Singh left the set as she said 'no' to an unplanned kissing scene
During an episode of Bhojpuri Bawaal, Kajal Raghwani shared that she and Pawan Singh were all set to do a movie named Kaise Ho Jala Pyaar. According to Kajal, when she first signed the film, there was no mention of any kissing scene.
However, when she was all set to shoot for the movie, she was asked to do a kissing scene with Pawan Singh. According to Kajal, it was Pawan Singh's idea to include the scene, to which everyone agreed. However, when she was approached, she said 'no'. According to Kajal, following this, the actor then left the set. In Kajal's words:
"Hum log woh film kar rahe the - Kaise Ho Jala Pyar (2008), waha pe woh kissing scene hua tha... Zabardasti karwaya. Uske baad meine mana kiya, na story ke liye mujhse waisi baat hui thi, jab meine story sunni thi. Wahan par aake agar hero discussion kar lega, agar ki, 'Yahan pe, mein kiss karunga.' Aur saare log, 'Ji Bhaiya, Ji Bhaiya.' Ladki ko bhi toh pucho ki tum karogi ki nahi. Meine mana kar diya toh set chodke chale gaye."
In the same interview, the actress further mentioned that no matter how big a star someone is, they should always have respect for their female co-stars, and thus they should also think about the female actors' consent and comfort. Kajal said that following the incident, she didn't do any projects with Pawan Singh. She was also told that he would not do any work with her because she was not willing to agree to his decision. Speaking more about how female actors are treated, Kajal said:
"Zabardasti thodi hoti hai ki aap ladki jo jab chaiye bolenge, baitna hai toh baito, uthna hai toh utho. Aise thodi na hota hai. Aap star hai, jo bhi hai, ek respect bhi toh hoti hai; female ki respect karna toh jano ki woh comfortable hai ki nahi."
Kajal Raghwani's claims on Nirahua and Amrapali Dubey
Kajal Raghwani also made some other claims against her co-stars like Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua and Amrapali Dubey. The trio shared the screen last year for the movie Mere Husband Ki Shadi Hai. In the recent interview, Kajal Raghwani mentioned that she has lost all respect for Nirahua. The reason behind the same is said to be that the actor told her, 'aukaat dikha denge'.
In her video, Kajal claimed that Nirahua showed his 'aukaat' by making this comment. Kajal also took a jab at Amrapali Dubey. She alleged that the actress twisted questions about her and Dinesh Lal Yadav. She asked Dubey if she was the reason that Danish stopped working with the former. Following her claims, she also posted a note on her Instagram, where she revealed that she was made to feel like an outsider and was falsely claimed to have asked for sympathy from others.
