Baseer Ali and his Splitsvilla partner, Naina Singh had triumphed over the 10th season of the love/breakup-based reality show, beating competitors, Divya Agarwal, and her then-beau, Priyank Sharma. While Baseer and Naina had soon parted ways after the show got over, the duo still continues to remain friends. However, it was on Valentine’s Day 2019, when Baseer had taken to his Instagram handle and posted some pictures and videos from what looked like a holiday with his newfound ladylove. A picture which had caught everyone’s fancy was a lady wearing a yellow jacket, covering her face and hiding on Baseer’s chest. But it later turned out that the duo had broken up too, hardly after a week of dating.
Baseer Ali, after a series of heartbreaks and linkups (Naina Singh, Samyuktha Hegde and the mysterious girl in the aforementioned picture), has found love once again. With great pride, he took to Instagram and shared a picture of his ladylove, Stayce Ponomareva. What we can decipher from the picture, Baseer and Stayce are super-happy together! Introducing his ladylove on Instagram with all his fans, Baseer wrote, “My smile shows how happy I am to have met you.”
While Baseer Ali has formally introduced the love of his life, Stayce Ponomareva on social media, his gorgeous grey-eyed ladylove, is yet to follow suit. Currently based out of India, Stayce is a model who regularly keeps on sharing her work from her modelling stint. The duo also regularly goes on dates/night outs and which is one of the many occasions when Stayce had posted a one-of-a-kind Instagram highlight with Baseer. Soon after he had posted the pictures with her, Baseer shared with an entertainment portal, "Yes I am in a relationship, I am dating a girl from Mumbai she is a lawyer by profession. As soon, I announced that I am in a relationship my fans unfollowed me”. But soon after, the actor-performer revealed to a fan in an Instagram ‘Ask Me Anything’ session (in April 2019) that he is ‘forever alone’. Baseer Ali, post breaking-up with his Splitsvilla 10 co-winner, Naina Singh, had opened up about their camaraderie and the reason behind their breakup. He had shared, “Naina and I had a very confusing relationship. I feel following in love in a game show doesn’t sound cool to me. In a reality show, you are playing a game. People around you also pretend and have different personalities. Naina and I chose to be friends throughout the show and never confessed being in love. We are always there for each other. After coming out, we became best friends. I can say that Naina is an important part of my life.”
Talking about Baseer Ali’s Roadies spree, his relationship with co-contestant, Samyuktha Hegde might not be unknown to you. In fact, Baseer had then admitted that he really liked Samyuktha but sadly, their relationship didn’t see the light of the day. This is what he had shared in an interview with The Hindu, “I really like her. But towards the end, we weren’t even together. She even nominated for a vote out. Hopefully, we might connect soon.”
Do you know, Baseer Ali’s mother was furious when she had heard that her son would participate in a dating reality show? Yes, he had a hard time convincing his ammi for the same and had revealed to The Hindu, “Splitsville had my mother spinning in anger. The very mention of the show and format was enough for her to lose her cool. Interestingly we were to begin shooting for the episodes of Splitsville during the month of Ramzan. It went against all my mother’s beliefs. At the same time, she wanted to support me on my journey and allowed me to fulfil my wish. It might look fun, but Splitsville was more agonising than Roadies. It was all about games and more games and not really about performing tasks like Roadies. What looks like it, Samyukhta Hedge recently found the love of her life and Baseer Ali too, is happily dating Stayce. And thus, they all lived happily ever after!
