Before the premiere of Bigg Boss 20 begins, Isha Rikhi reportedly spoke about her separation from Badshah for the first time. She shared that she wanted to keep the chapter quiet and kept everything about her relationship extremely private. The report was mentioned by the Free Press Journal.
She did not want her personal life to receive much limelight. Isha described this experience as extremely difficult and said she questioned herself about where she went wrong. In her words:
"What did I do wrong? ‘I won’t be cleaning my dirty linen in public."

Isha blamed Badshah and shared that she felt cheated. She had earlier stated that she had fought with her mom many times over the post, only to realize that whatever had happened was beyond her control. In her words:
"We communicated many times (after the posts). He was showing a different picture to me, which was not true. I was questioning myself: how can I be so stupid? This had to be the worst phase of my life. Feel cheated? I would say that I was, yeah."
According to social media reports, Isha and Badshah met in 2021 at a friend's party. Both of them grew extremely close and had also started dating. Their relationship was out of the media spotlight for years. The secret wedding took place in March 2026, which was attended only by a few friends and family members.
The snaps that went viral showcased Badshah in a kurta and safa while Isha was seen in a red bridal outfit. The pictures were leaked by Isha's mom, Poonam Rikhi. When an Instagram Ask Me Anything took place, Isha confirmed her marriage with Badshah. She had also shared the first couple snaps on her stories.
The topic of marital friction in Isha and Badshah's marriage came when she shared a cryptic video with a caption, "Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is hope." Isha reportedly had also stated that there was a lot she wanted to convey which she didn't. to the rapper. In her words:
"Yes, we have separated. While there is a lot to say, I wouldn’t want to talk about it. It is all in the past. And I want to let this chapter of my life go gracefully. I don’t want to make a tamasha of my personal life in public. I won’t be cleaning my dirty linens in public, because that’s not who I am."
