Bollywood actor, Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife, Tahira Kashyap are an inspiration for every couple. Ayushmann and Tahira have known each other for more than 21 years, and they still radiate couple goals with their adorable social media PDAs and in-love pictures. Their love story has inspired millions of people and made us believe that fairy-tale romance exists.
For the unversed, Tahira Kashyap was first diagnosed with cancer in 2018. She had fought a difficult battle with breast cancer and had come out a survivor. Tahira and Ayushmann had been very positive and inspiring in this whole situation. Since then, Tahira has been actively talking about her journey and sharing her experiences to raise awareness about cancer.

On World Cancer Day, Tahira Kashyap hosted a podcast titled My Ex-Breast on Audible. In the episode, Ayushmann Khurrana opened up about his experience during Tahira's long battle with breast cancer. Ayushmann and Tahira recalled the first time they heard of her cancer and shared that the jarring experience had thrown their world into chaos. Talking about the same, Ayushmann said:
“We were together in Delhi when we got to know about it from a doctor, we didn’t know at all. There was a time when both of us were very vulnerable sitting in a hospital. Again, you know people are asking for pictures where we were sitting by. I was hiding behind a pillar, the security guy and feeling terrible.”
Ayushmann also recalled how Nichiren Buddhism had helped his wife, Tahira Kashyap to sail through one of her darkest moments in their life. He added that Tahira had inspired him in that difficult phase and mentioned that she has come out stronger from it. He shared:
”It gave you the strength to fight head-on. Now you are the victorious queen in front of me. I was happy that you are emotionally strong in a way that you are going to tackle this and fight this. We were together in this fight, but I was getting so inspired by you that you’ve probably become stronger than me. You have a great presence. It doesn’t come from your hairstyle, it comes from your chanting, your practice, the person you’ve become, your experiences in life and sum of everything.”

After her long battle with cancer, Tahira Kashyap had gone through physical turmoil and had felt extremely insecure about herself. However, she had turned to her loving hubby, Ayushmann for comfort. Recalling those moments, Ayushmann shared:
“When I saw you for the first time, it’s like a bald head walking confidently. I was like wow this is so hot, seriously because your strength was everything, it was part of the personality. Your shoulders were always upright, you were never lacking confidence. Some of me feels you look better now. It’s just like version 2.0 of Tahira.”
Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap are that one couple from B-town, who has taught us that relationships are a two-way street. It can never be all about just one, as every relationship requires effort and one should be grateful for what they have. It has been 11 years since Ayushmann and Tahira had exchanged their wedding vows, and had their own share of ups and downs. Time and again, they have proved that a partner must focus on becoming their soulmate's strength rather than weakness in a relationship. Stardom or busy schedule, nothing can come between them. Proud parents of two kids- Virajveer and Varushka, Ayushmann and Tahira are a happily married couple.
