Emraan Hashmi returned as 'Shivam Pandit' in the newly released film, Awarapan 2. Alongside Emraan, the film also stars Disha Patani as 'Zara' and Shabana Azmi as 'Nafisa'. Ever since the film hit the theatres, people have grown curious to know how much the cast members earned for their respective roles.
Emraan Hashmi earns double as much as Disha Patani for his role in Awarapan 2
According to News24, Emraan Hashmi has reportedly charged between Rs. 10 crore and Rs. 12 crore for Awarapan 2. Disha Patani has reportedly been paid around Rs. 5 crore for her role in the film, Awarapan 2. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi has allegedly earned Rs. 2 crore and Rs. 5 crore. If the reports are believed to be true, then Emraan earned double as much as Disha for his role in Awarapan 2.
But do you know that Emraan has a 10-times salary hike for Awarapan 2? Yes, you read it right. In the 2007 film, Emraan allegedly earned Rs. 1.5 crore to 2 crore. The other cast of Awarapan 2, Suvinder Vicky as 'Jaideep', reportedly earns Rs. 80 lakh to Rs. 1.5 crore; Vijayant Kohli as 'Mehmood' allegedly earns Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 1 crore, and Atul Kumar as 'Samarth' reportedly took home Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 1 crore.

In Awarapan, the audience saw Emraan Hashmi’s character, 'Shivam', getting fatally injured. Back then, people assumed that he might have succumbed to his injuries. But Awarapan 2 brings back the biggest surprise by revealing that 'Shivam' is alive. It shows how the Chinese monks rescue 'Shivam' after he was shot. After surviving, 'Shivam' leaves his dangerous and ruthless mafia life behind and starts living quietly. He is still heartbroken over losing 'Aaliyah', the woman he loved the most.
However, things change drastically when 'Shivam' meets the abandoned child, 'Aaliyah', with whom he had once formed a close bond. He gets to know that the little girl has been pushed into the world of child trafficking. Unable to stand by and watch, 'Shivam' returns to his fearless avatar and heads to Bangkok to rescue the little girl named 'Aaliyah'. While 'Shivam' is on a mission in Bangkok, he meets a woman named 'Zara' (played by Disha Patani).
'Zara' hails from an underworld family and has her own emotional turmoil and complicated past. Her elder brother, 'Zorawar' (played by Puran Gabbi) is a ruthless gangster and one of the main villains. Gradually, 'Zara' and 'Shivam' fall in love. After a chain of events, 'Shivam' succeeds in rescuing the little girl named 'Aaliyah'. In the process, he kills 'Zorawar'. After saving 'Aaliyah', 'Shivam' bids goodbye to 'Zara' and watches 'Aaliyah' begin a safer, normal life.
But 'Shivam's' story doesn’t end here. 'Nafisa' had made a deal with 'Shivam'. She told 'Shivam' that she would help him in finding 'Zarowar's' whereabouts only if he agreed to work for her afterwards. As promised, 'Shivam' joins 'Nafisa's' group. For the uninitiated, Shabana Azmi plays the grey character, 'Nafisa', a powerful figure from the underworld.
After joining 'Nafisa's' group, 'Shivam' starts a new mission. As he enters a cargo vehicle with other men, 'Shivam' says, "Kuch logon ki kahaniya unki marzi se khatam nahi hoti, unki kahani doosron ke liye likhi jaati hai." The cargo door then closes, leaving his future unknown.
