BharatPe founder, Ashneer Grover often hits the headlines as he became a household name after his appearance on the business reality show, Shark Tank India season 1. Though the businessman is missing from the second season of the show, he never misses a chance to make news, courtesy of his witty and sarcastic nature. The duo flashed their brightest smiles while posing for the lens.
While the picture shared by Ashneer Grover was too beautiful for words, it was his caption that caught everyone's attention. In his note, the businessman took an indirect dig at the media publications that have been writing false reports about him. However, instead of complaining and threatening them, Ashneer asked them to use the picture that he shared in the articles. Sharing the reason behind the same, he mentioned that it hurts him to see his fatter version even after losing 15 kgs. His note can be read as:
"Press: You may write anything you get paid to write about me. I won’t complain. I have one request - please use this picture - nothing is more offensive to me than seeing my older fatter self after losing 15 Kgs! I don’t even read the stories like most - visual appeal is imp!!"
Ashneer Grover's savage dig at the press left everyone in awe of him. The businessman, who is known for never mincing his words, once again won hearts with his witty nature. As soon as his tweet went viral, netizens were quick to react and they flooded the post's comment section, appreciating Ashneer for his boss attitude. While one user penned, "Reporters, ye dogalapan mat karo bhai", another one commented, "Sir, kya savage ho yaar aap ekdum". Check out the reactions below:
In a candid conversation with Brut India, Ashneer Grover talked about his career and revealed that he worked at Kotak bank for seven years and made some big deals worth crores there. However, when he was told that the company would transfer him to Mumbai, he decided to quit the job as he realised that he would manage to do something big on his own. Sharing that he wanted to get out from the comfort of a salaried job, he revealed that it became the mantra for his success as no one can do something massive by just doing a plush job. In his words:
“My first deal was for around Rs 1600-2000 crore. I left the company when I knew they would transfer me to Mumbai. I am a Delhite and didn’t want to leave. I joined Grofers with a friend where I developed the muscle as a founder. After leaving the company, I launched BharatPe in just about 6-8 months. I firmly believe that sirf naukri karke koi bada aadmi nahi ban sakta."
