Couples who vacation together, stays together! And television actors, Asha Negi and Rithvik Dhanjani are a perfect example of it. The duo has been giving us relationship goals with their cute social media PDAs and their 'happily ever after' selfies. Asha and Rithvik's love blossomed on their show, Pavitra Rishta, however, it wasn't a love at first sight kind of story. In fact, Asha thought him to be a snob in the initial meetings, and it was much later she realised that he was a gem of a person. We still remember how once, Rithvik had labeled his love story as exceptionally crazy and a bit filmy as he kept on dropping hints of his love but Asha had turned a blind eye all through it until he played the jealousy card.
Currently, Rithvik and Asha are holidaying in London and gave us a digital tour of its streets. Oh boy, oh boy, we cannot get over with their cutesy pictures from the city of love and laughter. On June 26, 2019, Asha took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of adorable pictures with Rithvik, and she captioned it as, "Tu dil hai toh dil janta hai, I'll be alright #GrowingTogether". Coming back to their relationship, in an interview, Rithvik had shared his relationship details. He had stated, "I feel I am very lucky because very few people get what I have received in life. Asha has not only reciprocated the love we get from my family, her family and me but we have grown together by leaps and bounds, we have fallen over and over again, made mistakes, learned from it, we have picked each other, and have said, 'let's bloody keep going'." He had further added, "! am a lethargic person, I can never multitask. I think Asha has understood this well and has stood by me throughout the relationship. Everybody has their white, black and greys, I have my own. I think not just acknowledge the greys in your life but to take an effort to change those greys is what Asha has done."
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Rithvik had talked about his marriage plans, and had shared, "I want to get married but want it to be at the right time so that we never have to look back. I also want to get a nice house for her. She is my princess and I want to build a palace for her. So, that’s what I am waiting for. Our bond is way stronger now. I shamelessly depend on her for sanity; she has brought calmness into my life. Like everybody else, I too have a lot of flaws, which she rectifies beautifully."
In an interview with The Times of India, Rithvik and Asha had talked about how their love brewed. Rithvik had stated, "I was shooting for an episodic with another co-star. I asked Asha to come over to see the rushes of the shoot." To which Asha had added, "After seeing him with some other co-star, I felt a little jealous — and that was quite strange. We are actors and we are bound to have different co-stars but, I felt bad and that’s when we realised there was something more than friendship between us."
In the same interview, Rithvik had also shared how they never proposed to each other, and had revealed, "No one has proposed to each other. In fact, we didn’t even realise that we were in love. Look, we are not your typical lovebirds who say cheesy things to each other. We are friends who keep playing pranks on each other."
