Arshdeep Singh Slams Trolls, Backs GF Samreen Kaur Against Claims Of Dating Him For Fame And Money

Arshdeep Singh has been loud and proud about his girlfriend, Samreen Kaur. The duo is often seen in public walking hand in hand and giving a glimpse of their bond. They have been generating romance buzz since mid-2026, and lately they no longer seem to be trying to hide their connection. Meanwhile, unverified online posts claimed she had been using him for money and fame.

Amid the intense scrutiny around their relationship, Samreen hit back at the trolls and set the record straight. A supportive Arshdeep then defended his girlfriend against the backlash and doubled down on the attack on the trolls.

Samreen Kaur has been under intense online scrutiny ever since she and Indian star pacer Arshdeep Singh went public with their relationship. Recently, the 27-year-old model has faced online trolling, with some claiming she was dating Arshdeep for money and fame and would leave him once she got both. Many have taken to the comments of her post and left mean remarks questioning her intentions with Arshdeep.

After ignoring the issue for quite some time, Samreen Kaur decided to address it directly. She shared a statement about whatever a woman does, be it flaunting her man or hiding him, she is always judged for her actions. Samreen refuted the gold-digger claims, saying that she has been working since her teens. She added that she is capable of taking care of her own financial needs and doesn't need to rely on any man for that. She stated:

"If you hide your man, you're apparently not proud of him enough. If you love him loudly, you're doing it for fame. If you have standards, you're selfish. I've been working since I was 17, taking care of myself financially and professionally, travelling to over 20 countries, and building a happy life with or without a relationship. I'm happy, I'm in love, and I'm living my life. Please let us be."

Samreen shared that she and Arshdeep are in love and are happy with each other. She requested netizens to leave them alone, instead of indulging in unverified gossip. Arshdeep also echoed similar sentiments as he defended Samreen against the unverified rumours. Reposting Samreen's lengthy statement and replying to it, Arshdeep stated that he was proud of how she had dealt with the hate train with mental strength and grace.

Arshdeep Singh slammed the trolls by telling them to quit doing such things and let them be. The Indian cricketer criticised the excessive public and media interest in their lives and asked them to use their rationale to figure out where to draw the line. In his words:

"Proud of you baby. You are so strong. To all the people too concerned about what we should and shouldn't do, please take a break."

Samreen Kaur was born in Jammu and Kashmir in 1999, and she is an actor and model. She holds a BCom Honours degree from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune. She was a finalist in the Femina Miss India 2018 pageant, representing Jammu & Kashmir. Following this, she worked as a model and then transitioned into acting.

In addition to appearing in several music videos for Guru Randhawa, Badshah, and Jubin Nautiyal, Samreen appeared in the Zee5 web series Nail Polish.
