Happiness is flooding in the Khan-Sharma household as the youngest member of the clan, Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma’s daughter, Ayat Sharma arrived on December 27, 2019, and since then, the family is on cloud nine. The youngest one of the Khan-Sharma family shares her birthday with Arpita’s brother, Salman Khan and it was the star parents’ conscious decision to bring their little angel in this world on that day. While it was the proud daddy, Aayush Sharma, who had shared the first-ever pictures of their little angel, Ayat Sharma on his Instagram and had introduced her to the world, the newbie second-time mommy, Arpita Khan Sharma now gave her fans a glimpse of a brother-sister moment between her two dollops of happiness. Capturing a perfect shot of Ahil, gazing at his baby sister, Ayat while she slept peacefully, and applying a perfect love-filter on the same, Arpita shared the drool-worthy picture on her Instagram story.
Arpita Khan Sharma and her newborn daughter, Ayat Sharma were discharged from the Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai, a few days back, and Aayush Sharma and Ahil Sharma had accompanied them back home. Brimming with joy, the family of four had posed for the shutterbugs outside the hospital. Aayush had also planned a grand welcome for Ayat and had shared a glimpse of the same on his Instagram. The ‘welcome home’ surprise for Ayat had colourful balloons, paper unicorns, butterflies and everything cute, planned by her doting daddy! Sometime back, Salman Khan and Arpita Khan Sharma’s sister, Alvira Khan Agnihotri’s director-producer husband, Atul Agnihotri had treated the Khan-Sharma fans with a beautiful picture of Aayush Sharma and Ayat Sharma. Making our last day of the year as well as decade even more delightful, Atul had posted a picture of the father-daughter duo, where Aayush was adoring his little angel, Ayat, who was wrapped in a white and pink blanket. Captioning the picture of Aayush and Ayat from the hospital, Atul had written, “Love at first sight Ayat @arpitakhansharma @aaysharma.”
Coming back to why Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma chose December 27, 2019, to bring their little bundle of joy in this world, the latter had shared the reason in an interview with the Hindustan Times a few days back. Why welcoming Ayat in this world on Salman Khan’s birthday meant special for the family, Aayush had revealed, "The due date was last week of December or first week of January. When we told this to everyone, Bhai (as Salman is lovingly called) was excited and said ‘give me a gift’. So, it was a conscious decision to bring Ayat into this world on that day. It is a very good omen to have her on Bhai’s birthday... Also, it saves me from giving multiple parties! Arpita has a habit of throwing lavish parties, so I was anyway thinking how much I’ve got to earn to celebrate hers, mine, Ahil’s (three-year-old son) and Ayat’s birthdays. Now, we all can go to the farmhouse, where on one side, we can celebrate Bhai’s birthday and the other side can be booked for the kid’s party.”
Revealing how their three-year-old son, Ahil Sharma reacted on becoming a big brother after the arrival of his baby sister, Ayat Sharma, Aayush Sharma had remarked, “Ahil thought the baby would be his size and he’ll be able to play with her. He was like ‘Papa she is too small and squishy, like a doll..’ But he has become this overprotective big brother. No one gets to meet Ayat without Ahil’s permission.
